is this promo still going on and does DIY stuff count as "hardware"? im ordering some nic juice and bottles right now but could get some other things if needed.

Hardware would only be cartos, attys, kits, things of that nature. DIY flavorings, Juice and Nic would not fall into the hardware category. Keep watching though as sales are always changing.:)

Doh... go figure, put in a 150.00 order like 3 days ago... including some 306 LR's. My friends have been raving about them... so had to give em a try.

Just wish shipping to Canada was faster. :(

Oh those 306 LRs are going to be worth the wait! Did you get the debridged?

A lot of drippers prefer a debridged atty. The flavor is better because you are putting your juice directly on the burning coil, not on a bridge that is covered with mesh and a wick underneath. Some pull out the wicks from underneath the bridge and leave it intact which helps with flavor also, as wicks can get saturated with certain flavors and it's difficult to get a flavor out once it's saturated and the wick also gets charred which affects taste also.

What you need to know is that you can use a bridgeless atty for dripping ONLY - once the bridge is removed you can no longer use it with a cart.

There are a lot of videos on YouTube that show how to remove a wick and remove a bridge. It's not difficult as I have debridged 2 myself for dripping, however I only drip to try out new flavors as I am a carto gal.

Anyway - sorry for the long explanation but I hope it helps, and anyone please correct me if I am wrong about this. This is just what I know from what I've read and from my own experience!

Thanks so much for your explanation! Until a few days ago, I've only used cartos. But our evil FSUSA SA brother, Ab, sent me some 306 attys to try. I've been dripping a lot (really a lot) the last couple of days and love the flavor. So a debridged atty will make the flavors taste even better? Wow! I can't imagine, but after reading your explanation, it makes sense. I'll do a search on google and find out how to debridge. For now though, I'll order a few from FSUSA since they already did the work.

Thanks again. :)

Thank you! Now to further test your knowledge of debridged attys... LOL Since they are only for dripping, would they be good to use with juice feeders?

You'll need to ask someone besides me on that one Free! I don't have a clue about juice feeders. If they don't have a cartridge with filler that an atty needs to touch I wouldn't think that they do, but let someone else chime in as I am clueless about that type of PV. I don't own anything larger than a PigCig! ;D

Edit: Just noticed - this is post # 500 for me! LOL

Congrats on post 500! And thanks for the help. I know someone I can ask so I'll hit him up before seeing if this sale is still going. If it will work, I'm thinking I'd like to try the debridged. :)

And yes, salem, me and my juice feeders..... LOL

MMk, this special finally caused me to pull the trigger and order an eGo....I've been using only KR808s since I started vaping, and I love 'em, but I felt like trying something different and I've heard good things.

That said, quick question if someone doesn't mind answering; I ordered the eGo starter kit, some 510 cartridges, and a debridged LR 510 atty...did I do that correctly? Does the eGo normally use 510 carts and atomizers, or does the eGo have special parts for it? I'd really like to know in case I need to change something before the order ships. Also, any general tips from eGo users on what to get beyond what I ordered to enhance my experience?

You're correct. The eGo uses 510 parts. There are parts that are eGo specific. I'm not wild about the XL cartomizers. I hear that the Mega atomizers + Mega carts are nice, but I haven't used them yet.

Yes - the EGO uses any 510 parts. You can also purchase EGO Mega attys and cartos that will only fit the EGO 510, not regular 510's. The MEGA cartos have a good taste and hold almost 2ml but you have to break a seal inside and fill them with a syringe - doesn't bother me as I am a nurse, but some people don't like to use syringes.

I have read some posts about the LR attys frying batteries but can't elaborate - maybe someone else will chime in here as I've never tried one on my EGO.

Have fun with your new PV!

I ordered a RIVA 901 last night as I like the fat bats when I'm home all day working and I am partial to 808's!

Happy Vapin! :D
