I'm completely new to electronic cigarettes, but I'm looking to purchase a cheap starter one. I don't smoke, so I literally know nothing about electronic cigarettes. When I try to do research I'm overloaded with info and fishy-looking websites and can't seem to find any cheap starter packs.

Basically I'm looking for the cheapest starter kit that I can get, with zero nicotine cartridges. I'm also only going to be smoking maybe once or twice a week, so the reliability of the battery and things like that don't matter to me that much.

Can anyone recommend a cheap starter electronic cigarette for me? Thanks a lot!

(I've also got a question about electronic cigarettes: If I get a nicotine free fruit flavored cartridge, will I be able to smoke indoors without bothering other people (mainly with the smell)?)

Hi - why do you want to take up vaping if you don't smoke?

Wondering the same question too? Do you smoke hookaa? Is there a reason why your looking for an e cig is you don't smoke? But besides that, the ego-c are really popular unit for new Vapers ad older Vapers as well! They are lite and easy to carry around, and there are many things avaible for the ego, one of the best thing is that they can change the voltage on them which is a plus to the ego.

I've tried hookah before, and enjoyed it, and I just want to give e-cigs a try.

Since I'm new to this, I'm not sure what the price range for these are. Since I'm really just looking to give it a try, is there a really cheap starter e-cig I could get for cheaper, or is around $65 what I can expect to pay for any starter e-cig?

Sorry, i see you answered the question while i was typing. It is just unusual for somebody to want to do it if they are not previous tobacco users and dont take it personal, but you wont get a lot of support to start it. With that said, if you are set on doing it i would try vulcan vape. You dont have to buy a starter kit. Just get a 650 mah passthrough battery and a clearomizer. Its all you need to get started and will cost less than $30. I still dont recommend it though. It is safer than smoking, but still not a great idea to inhale anything other than air.

Most people on here will suggest you don't start vaping if you don't smoke tobacco. I am not one of them, there are a few choices you need to make though. If you want to use your best bet is to buy 0 mg nicotine e liquid and fill your desired delivery method. If you want a small cig a like your limiting your self with sub par battery performance and life. Also as a rule of thumb if you can't smoke a cigarette there you might want to refrain using an ecig because it still produces vapor and may offend some people or be mistaken for something else.

I've made two orders with them so far and have gotten my items quickly you can look up other kits on any of the approved vendors sites and shouldn't get ripped off.

Many will tell you that even vaping has side effects, not as much as smoking obviously, but it still does.
I must really question why you would want to even start going down this road.
It really isn't glamorous or chic, or even cool. Most vapers vape because they wanted an easier healthier method to stop smoking Tobacco Products. I would assume you are rather young.
I would say think about this really hard.
You have made the effort to join this forum to ask questions and I applaud you, but try not to start even with 0Nic.

Question your reasoning and be honest with yourself in those answers. Don't start something you may regret in the future, just because you think it seems like something you would enjoy.

I appreciate your concern but I'm not doing this because I think it'll be "cool" or anything, I'm just interested. I have no intentions of moving to anything that has nicotine in it, and I'd most likely only be vaping once a week or less.

Thanks a lot for the link, that's about the price range I was hoping for. Cigarettes are allowed where I live, so no worries in that regard.

Your welcome. I'd suggest reading the new members info section to learn more. I would try small sizes of flavors to start till you find something you like. Also be careful some people have reactions to the pg or flavoring in the ejuice. Also drink lots of fluids as it causes dehydration and possibly irritation.

I'm sure you old enough to make your own choices of what you what to do. My best advice would be as mention from other vapers, is take the time to go over some of the sections in here and get a little more familiar with products. There's a lot of information just for about everything. Just know that vaping 0nic can always progress to something with nic levels, as someone posted just make sure this is something that you really would like to do, and if so best wish on finding the right product for your needs and welcome!

Here's a great way to try vaping at a low cost.
If I was a casual ecig user, I believe this wold be high on my list.
Much easier to just toss it when it's depleted and njoy's are available in most convenience stores.
They're running a freebee if you pay the shipping.

look for an ego style starter kit

I don't know why you would want to with e-cigs when you haven't been into smoking before, but to answer your question in suggesting a cheap e cigarette, I second denali_41 on ego..

Check out the ego-c e cigarette starter kit...at abt $30 it makes a good starter kit as the name suggests.

I am relatively new to vaping, but the one thing i got the most out of the research i did is you pay for what you get... I went with a v2 kit to start, and have ordered liquid from a few different places. If its something you're not going to use frequently it's not a bad choice, ive found i use it alot (formerly 1.5-2 pack a day smoker) and i always have a battery on the charger in rotation. Be careful with what you order, and always double check that there is 0nic in what you get
