Oxidation on contact

I have oxidation on my stingray contact I was wondering how you guys keep it nice and clean? This is what it looks like

After the first polishing - being certifiably lazy, I don't try.
Like Stosh alludes to in his post, oxidation begins again, almost immediately after cleaning and/or polishing... which is why I usea tiny dab of MG Silver "conductive" grease on "oxidize-able" contacts... and why it's useful enough IMO, to be part of my "big post O' links". ;)

(The Vetco link is for specs... it's cheaper to buy from Amazon)

The best way to clean your contacts is simply to remove and polish them. I use Mother's Mag & Aluminum, but any decent metal polish will work. Yes, you will have to do this every once in a while, but there's no way to actually prevent the oxidation. I just find this easiest, and you'll be amazed how hard your mod will hit when the contacts are mirror shined! :)

That's not good advice for his device though. They are silver plated contacts, and it'll get stripped. Use a white eraser, or use soap/water
