P-38 Menthol with WTA from Aroma - med nic -

Recent WTA posts and Aaron's recent post prompted me to give this a try... Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice

I reluctantly shelled out the $29.00 for two 10ml vials of the P-38 with WTA... (price included shipping = priority)-

I am glad that I did... I found another juice that I like... unfortunately it's pricey...

The flavor of this juice reminds me of a good high quality chinese tobacco... like a fresh dekang... In fact, for me it is a fairly close match to Dekang's Menthol - It is pleasant... the tobacco flavor is barely noticeable... which is a good thing for me.
It has much more of a "made in a LAB" flavor than a "Mom and POP" flavor... this is okay by me...

The menthol is perfect... fairly strong and effective. It doesn't dry out the inside of your mouth like some menthols do...

The juice does have a top shelf quality to it - the slightly unusual flavor and stellar performance of this dry burning... voluminous vapor producing juice makes the grade!

warning... This may be the psychological side effect of paying the premium or it could be an authentic claim... I am not sure at this point.

now... WTA...
Can't taste it... but again... here's what I think it's doing...

One thing I miss about smoking real cigarettes is how they kind of helped me stay awake when I was really tired... or gave me a little more energy and focus when I needed it... vaping takes the psychotic monkey off my back and helps me relax or cool down...

I think the WTA did give me this additional kick.

I was able to make it through five + hours of skyrim after a 15 hour workday vaping the WTA... If I was vaping my normal juice, I wouldn't have made it more than 45 minutes before I hung it up and started snoozing.

again, I cannot be sure of this... as a teacher of psychology... I am tempted to do a double blind study ;-)

I do want more of this juice.
Price is a barrier for me... but I do see myself getting this again.

Good review. Please update us after you've had more experience with the WTA effect.

I've not tried the P-38 (not a menthol fan) but I have had Virginia 12mg, Turkish 24mg and DK TAB 26mg.

I wouldn't buy the Virginia again... vaped almost three mL and couldn't stand the taste anymore. It tasted like a homemade 8% FA Virgina juice that needed another month of steeping. DIYers will understand.

The Turkish wasn't bad and I keep it at work for occasional drips to chase away the ciggy demons. Can't really say it tastes like any particular tobacco but it has a healthy throat hit.

DK TAB is probably the best of the three, despite having a definite WTA taste. How can I identify the taste? Well, I made an acid-base extract from rolling tobacco, added some to plain VG and vaped it. The chemical-ish twang is the same. It's odd that my wife actually liked the TAB's taste since she normally rejects tobacco flavored juices.

I like to vape the WTA liquid for about an hour or so before bedtime. It seems to have a relaxing effect.

I should have waited longer to post a review ;-) I went through those two 10ml bottles in record time and bought 4 more the moment jerry put them back up on the site...

I have been vaping the p-38 alongside some other menthols and the p-38 has revealed slightly more complexity... it's incredibly clean and burns very nicely in my atties... performance has been an A+.

After a week or two I'll say that it's not a placebo effect... that the wta seems to have some kind of pull on me...
I would say that it does make me feel more satisfied and relaxed... I believe it does help me focus... on reading, gaming, writing...

Jerry told me that he grows his own menthol crystals... so I assume that this juice is also something that has been produced by aroma...

I like it a lot... I wish I could try the p-38 without the wta - just to see if I liked it as much...

In any case, I do see a third buy on the horizon...

P-38 seems to affect me much less in the satisfied/relaxed department than the vapelicious WTA juices at the same nic level, 18mg. i usually use a lower nic level with WTA juices from the other vendor. i feel like i'd prefer p-38 at 24mg. I really like the flavor though... it tastes very clean. I'd like to to buy aroma's unflavored WTA concentrate when it's back in stock and add a little bit to experiment. This is a quality juice.

Thanks for your follow-ups.
Cheers!

The tastes are very different... the silverleaf is sweeter and more pungent... while the P-38 is lighter and crisper...
Both have excellent throat hit and superb menthol performance...

...the p-38 has the wta .... and now that spring break is over and I am back at work... and there's no vaping at my job... I am feeling the effects of wta withdrawl... so I guess I am now convinced that the wta does have a different effect and that it is no placebo...
