p10 or p16

hello all,
wondering if some of you veteran vaporers can help me.I currently use the reg. ego but wanted to try either the p10 or 16(dont want to keep spending $$ on replacement batts or extra batts.)the ego lasts me almost all day at work.will the p10 be fine if i carry 1 extra battery?I like the size of the smaller units but if i need to i would step up to the p16.
can anyone put up side by side pics of the two length and diameter,would really appreciate it before investing alot of $$$ on this mod.... thanks in advance rob

get the p16.
the p10 battery isn't powerful enough.
the IMRs with LR attys seems popular and the p16 is perfect for that.

... as NW said. The P10 runs a 10440 battery which in everyone's opinion is grossly overrated for vaping. It is a nice device to take at a "social event" but not as an every day device. OTOH the P16 will see you through most of the day, but YMMV.

Here is a side by side, as you can tell if you read my signature, I have stuck to just the P10 but I don't mined changing battery's and I just prefer the slicker style of the P10. And Dave is coming out with a small fix for that, but if long battery life with less changing is what your looking for the P16 is for you.

Now when David's variable voltage juices fed box mod comes out well theirs a hole new issue. my signature might just change!!!!

I've been using an eGo exclusively.

A comparison of dimensions:


eGo sans cone = .550" dia. x 2.750" lngth

Precise 16 = .730" dia. x 2.913" lngth.

I'm awaiting a P16. As you can see there's not a heck of a lot of dif. My current Ego cases etc. will be fine for the P16, yours too?

Not as important as the poster's advice above - LR atty, batt longevity.

2 P10s for when I am out and about, P16 and 2 S6s for around the house. All 5 go along when I am out of town.
If I was to pick just one, it would be the P16. Great device for all around use.

P-16 is the way to go, I have the P-10 for the women events and take 2 extra bats with me. I am a heavy vaper-LOL.
David is on top of his orders right now, your wait will be well worth the time. Shoot him a pm to get a good estimate.

As a primary device for a heavy vaper, the batt life is just not there in that size battery, but i'm wondering if the IMRs can actually drive LR attys to their full potential (albeit for a short run-time).

I don't know the max drain rate but from what I understand they will give the LR atty what it's been missing, I just bought 2 form a forum member with 6 Trustfires so I'll know for sure when the arrive in a few days. I do understand the run-time is cut considerably.

probably better if they don't release the specs. they'd have to have a 6-7C discharge rate, comparable to substantially larger cells like AW's IMR14500 and IMR16340. other manufacturer's like BDL's IMR14500 (3C), or the MNKE IMR18650 (3C) and even their IMR26650 (either 2.5C or 3.75C depending on which source you believe), fall short in their discharge rates compared to what AW is able to provide in comparable and even smaller cell sizes. of course the 18650 and 26650 more than fit our purposes because the runtimes are so high that when multiplied by even meager discharge rates like these, they can still offer 4.2A for the 18650 and 10 or 15A for the 26650.

but again, to get the requisite 2.1-2.5A from a 350 mAh cell, the discharge rate would need to be a whopping 6C...and that's if you believe it's 350 mAh to begin with. having said that, there's a lot of happy vapers out there using 10440s and LR attys.
