P18 and metal polish

A question to David. Is it possible to use metal polish to p18 like autosol without causing damage to the mod ?

I've used polish, car wax, and more...
if you are really worried make sure there are no abrasives in it.

but..then again...david also offers a free buff on the lathe and u just pay the $5 shipping back.

I will wait for Davids response to see what he has to say. =)

Autosol do an amonia free polish especialy for Stainless I use it a lot on a few stainless things I like to keep looking good and it's great.

I've never used that particular polish, but i'm sure it would work great. I personally use Mothers polish, but we all have our favorites

I use Nevr-Dul myself. It comes in a tin that's filled with cotton batting that's soaked in polish. Just rip off a piece and polish it up. I originally got it to polish my brass paintball barrels, but it works great on my P16 as well.
