PA Shopping Mini Spree

I just purchased some flavors from PA that I have not tried yet. Yes, I have a bit of an obsession with all things Vanilla.

Here is what I ordered:

French Vanilla ( Use the Capella version currently)
Vanilla Custard (Use the Capella version in a lot of recipes....hope this one is comparable or better!)
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Malted Milk (I liked the original samples so want to try the more concentrated version.)
English Toffee (I have only used the Lorann's version and the Capella's Milk Chocolate Toffee)
Earl Grey Tea (I drink this daily so am looking forward to this flavor)
Dulce de Leche (I am intrigued by this and can see many uses for it.)
Cola (I really want a good vanilla coke or cherry vanilla coke.)

Just thought I would share and post again once I have experimented with these flavors.

Me too so I got a small bottle to see how it measures up.

Gooddog, I am hoping the vanilla bean ice cream will make a good milkshake flavor. Mmmmm..vanilla, chocolate, or stawberry milkshakes!

I tried it with chocolate and lost the ice cream flavor and more of a butter flavor came through. Sometimes that's a problem with adding a flavor to some flavors... they disappear. I'm going to try a strawberry as soon as I get the koolada I ordered.

Can I ask what % you used for Vanilla Bean Ice Cream? All of the other flavors from TPA I've been mixing at 15% so that's what I started with and it was way too strong... I know I should have started lower.....but it smells so good I was impatient

I like my flavors strong so my percentages won't help you. Start at 10% and work up from there.

Ast, you will love the DLD...it is sooooooooo good. I use it as is because I love the taste. No extra flavoring. In fact, I need to order more of it.

I ordered the vanilla bean, too. Can't wait to try it. GoodDog, how is the koolada and how much do you use? I was going to order the vanilla custard, but I had to cut myself off since I already have Capella's. Let us know how it is!

Redgirl, I just got it today so haven't had much of a chance to fool around with it. I did add 3 drops to a 6ml bottle of Peach Ice Cream and didn't notice much so I added another 3 drops. It hasn't had time to sit so I don't know if that will make a difference. At that amount I notice a cool feeling on my lips and tip of my tongue but not much else. I'll let it sit and go back to it later today.

I have 1 oz of PA vanilla custard and its awesome! It tastes just like Capellas which is not a suprise because Linda told me a few months back she was having Capellas analyzed to determine what's in it. The vanilla bean (have a 4ml bottle sample) is a very strong vanilla taste where the vanilla custard has a more buttery taste. I love them both so I highly recommend them. I wish Linda would get the double chocolate one done without the added coloring that Capella's uses. These vanillas are her best. The french vanilla and bavarian creme both suck compared to these. I used 20% to 25% flavor since I like strong flavor even though its been almost 8 months without a cigg. I have a sample of her new marshmallow and it tastes exactly like Capellas since I have a almost full bottle of Capella's to compare it to.

Am I the only one this bothers? I know this kind of business practice exists but it doesn't make me think too highly of a company that makes it public knowledge and chats with customers about replicating a competitor's proprietary product in the attempt to take their customers.

After letting the koolada sit 6 drops is way too much and it became more of a burning sensation. Next time I'll start with 1 drop and let it sit. I can't seem to get it through my head that some flavors really need to sit before testing.

GoodDog, you have a every right to be bothered by this. Wal Mart does the same thing. They even say right on the package that their product can be compared with X companies product. If Lynda wishes to analyze another companies product, that is her business. She should NOT talk to her customers about it though. Then again, this is hearsay (no offense to VapingMatt intended) and should be considered as such.

I received my order today from PA. Unfortunatly I will not have time to start test mixes until next week since I am going out of town this weekend.

I opened the Earl Grey Tea bottle and OMG!!!! It smells like the real thing!
