Hello everyone! As a few of you may have heard, I recently got married! Huzzah! My wife (wow, still sounds weird to say that) and I are 2-year+ vapers of V4L and are looking forward to taking our extensive vaping supplies with us to our honeymoon in Hawaii!

However, I am not familiar with the customs of bringing e-cig supplies with you on a plane. I have some questions for those of you who may have done so already.

I can imagine scanning or opening up luggage and seeing a e-cig kit to be quite suspicious since you have all the batteries, cleaning supplies, juices, cartridges... are these things allowed in luggage? Have any of you been questioned for having these things? What did you say?

I also want to know what's the latest deal on vaping on a plane? Obviously not blatantly in the cabin... but can you carry an e-cig with you on the plane through security to vape in the bathroom or something? (Mile high vaping club new member, soon!)

Please give me other tips and advise for packing my e-cig supplies for flight :)

THANK YOU ALL! V4L is the best!!!

I've done a little traveling with my V4L stuff and had no problems at. I kept my batteries, cartos and chargers in with my other laptop peripherals. I also had two assembled in my purse. Security didn't blink an eye. I didn't have juice with me, but as long as you put your juice bottles (no larger than 3 ounces) with your other liquids, you'll be fine. All this stuff is allowed in luggage. And I think airlines prefer that you have ALL lithium batteries in your carry-on rather than checked luggage.

They let you on the plane with your e-cig, but I think most planes have rules about e-cigs, or it's undetermined territory. You won't set off the smoke detector in the bathroom. I did not stealth vape in my seat, but others have. I did vape a little as I walked through airports. I don't think anyone even noticed.

The Travel forum Morandir linked to is a good resource for info and experiences.

Good link, I read somewhere that someone had a blanket over half of their face up to their nose and took drags and blew em down under the blanket. No issues. Jacket would work the same since they charge for the blankets I assume on some airlines.

I might try that if I fly somewhere. Or in the bathroom. No blowing into the smoke detectors:)

When we did our Alaska cruise earlier this year, we flew into Seattle... I had the bottles, and my eyeglass case full of batts as well as a few boxes of prefilled cartos in my luggage. No questions what-so-ever. I also had two ready to go in my purse... no questions. I dont think you'll have any trouble at all. I didnt try to vape in the cabin, altho I did vape on the train to Vancouver. Hubby made me stop as he said people were looking at me... lol... not from the smell, but just from the appearance of it all.
