Travel and Vaping Changing flights in Panama with e-cig?

I will be on my way to Ecuador next month and was wondering if anyone has any experience with travelling with e-cig supplies (personal, not to sell) flying to and from Panama. I will be changing planes from the US on my way to Ecuador. I know there isn't Ecuadorian Law that prohibits it and I'd hate to switch back to cigs on vacation, but I also don't want any of my e-cigs or supplies confiscated. I am not travelling in Panama, only changing planes there. Thanks for any info!

I just flew thru Panama... actually spent the night before flying out to Venezuela. Carried my Provari in my carry-on bag the entire time. Security actually looked at it in Venezuela & Sao Paulo & other than curiosity, no problems.

Just chiming in to this old thread... I've traveled through Panama about 5 months ago and had absolutely no problems. Didn't know of the ban and was vaping away in the terminal... oops.
