In a bid to cut down on my spare tyre, I embarked on a training programe.

This painful lesson came today. Don't ever do Fartlek circuits after vaping. On my 2nd run I almost farking died. My lungs were hurting like someone pour acid on it and I had to lie down to breathe again.

I guess vaping and exercises don't go hand in hand as well.

2 questions LOL

a) Is it you? or is it an effect of vaping? Has anyone else experienced this?
b) What actually causes this pain?

Me and my scientific mind working here, lol

If vaping is a 'healthy alternative' then why would it cause this? Do you get the same reaction from exercise if you DIDNT vape before hand? If you dont know the answer, may well be worth having a go? :)

Keep us posted on the results of your exercise! :D

1) I've tried 3 sessions. Prev 2 was without vape. So it pretty much narrows it.

2) Might be the PG(80/20) in my juice. PG is hydroscopic u see. Might have suck the moisture right out of my trachea and coupled with the panting from Fartlek. Either that or the menthol in the juice.

Point to note: no such symptoms when on analogs. Can still run after smoking without much discomfort.

I think everyone's body react differently...before vaping (1PPD) I cannot run 800m (2 rounds of track) without gasping for air. Now I can pace myself to finish 2.4km around 14mins (still fail IPPT but definitely better than before).

I couldn't walk 100m without a smoke break in between, and now... well let's just say the smoke break became the vape break now.

Joking aside, it's great that everyone is getting healthy and training. I think the dry throat you get might have something to do with it. And eventhough vaping is healthier compared to smoking, there's still a lot we don't know. Maybe it was the PG or something else. Anyone?

erm i feel much better now switching 1.5PPD to vaping.
i cycle quite a bit. 10-20km offroad mountain bike trails. sometimes to the extend of smoking an analog while cycling, stick in mouth, while pedaling. on average i do maybe 40-60km a wk.

now, i can do 10km easily and dont feel like my chest is collapsing or breathless. and i steal a vap or two while riding occasionally, with analogs need to finish whole stick.

overall my stamina is so so much better. and i dont have this irritating stuff nose feeling too.
