Order Number: 12803 - Thanks for the chance to get more great DTs! :vapor:

Brief Review of my last order if you want some praise & feedback:

  • The Tanbur T-Tip is now my new favorite drip tip. It's reminds me of a cigarette holder from the 20's. It looks great, vapes great, & feel great in my mouth.
  • The Kofun T-Tip is now my favorite mawn-style drip tip and is superior with a quality finish, and has a better draw then the cheaper ones I bought elsewhere that are likely made in China.
  • The Electronic Digital Caliper priced at $19.99 was a steal and I saw the exact one this morning selling for $30+shipping at littlemachineshop.com.
  • As always, your price & shipping on AW IMR batteries are the best!

David, thanks for swapping my order for the Pila IBC 4-Stage Charger to the xtar SP2 charger. I wish I had not changed my order now! I remember seeing that the 18350 wasn't listed for the SP2, but I figured it was because you needed xtar spacers. When I got it I was dismayed to see no threaded holes for XTAR Spacers. :( (I realize now they did this intentionally to prevent overcharging smaller <700mah battery accidentally at higher current settings)

Maybe you could put a RED TEXT note on the product listing for thick headed :glare: people like me simply reaffirming:
DOES NOT USE XTAR SPACERS/ WILL NOT WORK WITH BATTERIES THAT ARE NOT LISTED! Seriously we are not kidding. :D

I bought the XTAR WP6 II from you couple of months back, but even with the 4 XTAR Spacers my AW IMR 18350s keep popping out. The springs are not all the same tension or absolute length (A problem XTAR admitted to me in an email, with a statement indicating that they have addressed this issue in production now) so the same bays are always popping batteries out. It's a chore to get all the 18350's in there with out touching the previously inserted one causing it to leap out. It's a great charger & I find it's high pitch sound that it makes when it oscillates between battery bays and various voltages/currents to be helpful in alerting me when the batteries are charged because it gets quiet when they are ready to come off the charger.

I bought a XTAR MP2 18350 charger from elsewhere just for 18350's, but it's the only XTAR charger that always overcharge the batteries to 4.25-4.26V, so I only use it when I have to when traveling because it's so tiny and convenient to take with me. The guy who sold it to me spent weeks testing many of his other MP2 chargers and couldn't find one that wasn't prone to this behavior due to the AW IMR being a lower resistance then a protected 18350 because it lacks the protection circuit. (Which is why AW warns people to check the off the charger voltage and steer away from chargers that finish the battery above a voltage of 4.20V because it will shorten the life of the cell. 4.22V I believe is the highest voltage that is acceptable.

Sorry for the long post, figured the least I could do is give some positive feedback and complain a little just to keep it fair and balanced.

You guys are a great supplier & I will always come to you first for my batteries, drip tips, and chargers.

Kind Regards,

Jonathan - Who still doesn't have a PILA Charger, because he is bone-head. :headbang:

Good to hear you are liking your new Tips! People don't realize there is still a difference! A tip isn't a tip!

On the SP2 Spacer, there is actually a note that says the 16340 and 18350 require one aluminum spacer per channel, but we will look into making it more visible for our customers :) We really appreciate the feedback!
