So my latest endeavor was to get the longest lasting battery possible in my eVic. My last fasttech order included these https://www.fasttech.com/products/1141104 and sadly they don't fit or work in an eVic. Maybe I'm just missing something but do they make this battery to fit in an eVic?

I'm not go into deal with sending it back so hopefully there is a mod that can use these?

The protection circuit on a rechargeable battery will make the eVic not respond as it should. I purchased these Panasonic NCR18650B non protected and they work great. If you are looking for a charger I recomend the Nitcore I2 charger.

Awesome, I don't know why I want the bigger capacity. I already get about 1 days out of the factory battery but it usually gets a little low towards the end of the second day and it takes forever to charge. 2 extreme capacity batteries would be perfect.

You can still make the protected batteries work in your eVic. Just take the PCB off of the battery.

You need to peel the plastic layer off of the battery, and take the washer off the top (+) end and remove the button cap, gently remove that flat rectangular wire running down the side of the battery, and then pop off the protection circuit board off the bottom (-) end. Take that yellow tape off, clean off the leads as best as you can, try to get as much of that glued/soldered metal off. After that, you should be able to stick it in your eVic and it'll work normally.

Oh, thank you kind citizen!!

I have been having issues with my old protected 18650's. I just yanked off the plastic wrap and PCB and I can finally start vaping now :D

Many thanks for your simple resolution by thinking outside the box!

In case you end up wanting the best battery life, those are exactly the thing you should go for. Why settle for less, considering the evic has 2.5 amp limit and therefore can't benefit in added amperage. Bought two of those myself like 4 months ago and they are spot on.
