Hi all! Been vaping a while now and have recently gotten into mech mods and rebuildables. I have a penny mod clone that has been perfect for me and picked up a ss Panzer mod a few weeks ago. It worked great for a while, then the other night after sitting for a few hours while I slept it has completely stopped working. I have taken it apart and cleaned the switch. I have cleaned the top cap as best I can, but I can't take it apart without possibly ruining the insulator for the contact. Does anyone know of this problem or has had it happen to them? Is there a fix that you are aware of? I've looked at you tube and come up empty. Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the reply baditude. I got it working again a couple of hours ago. I had to back out the 510 screw on my atty. Using the v1 tobh running dual 24 gauge coils at .4 ohms. It honk the issue is with the floating pin in the top cap. I may see if I can take it apart further eventually. As long as it's firing, I'm good to go for now.

510 interface is a problem by itself; common problem; that's why mechs and rba's are being designed with 'adjustable' pins.

If you had a multimeter you'd have found the problem

I'm concerned about the bottom firing mech; the battery encasing is not designed for bottom fired; it's something to avoid if you don't even have a meter to check for a short
