Straight to the subject. The clone is 90% near perfect than the original. Only difference is the copper/silver pins are replaced with bronze. To get to the point, it's a beaut. However, that locking ring... Oh lord that locking ring. It took me an hour without hurting the beautiful shell of the body of the panzer online opening it up again. How you say? The rubber gloves was the last resort but has never budged. Unfortunately, the real last resort was pulling out the wrench.

By locking the jaws snuggle on the lock ring and putting my knee on the handle, making 100% it's not moving at all, gives my the chance to give myself full grip of getting that **** off. With that being said, it has happened twice. Now applying something on it would keep it lubricated.

I love the panzer, but that lock ring... And it's not just with the clones but also with the authentic reported lately.

It happened to my authentic SN 1925 on the first day of ownership. I spun it gently and the ring locked up so tight nothing would get it off. after breaking it with pipe wrenches I ordered another locking ring which works great. I think the tolerances are a little tight on the authentics, can't speak to the clones.
