Parallel batteries question

Does running 2 18650 batteries in parallel really split the amp load between the batteries or do both batteries get the full load?

voltage remains the same available capacity double.
Say you have 2x VTC4
4.2v @ 2100 mAh 30a
2 in parallel would output 4.2v 4200mAh 30a (each 18650 would split the 30a max 15a x 2=30a total)
Only your mAah doubles voltage and amps remain the same only the load is spread across both batteries.

One big thing to remember is to make sure you marry those batteries

Parallel connections will increase your current rating, but the voltage will stay the same. In the diagram to the left, we're back to 6 Volts, but the Amps increase to 20.
