Yeah, I saw that version posted last week. If you don't mind waiting then I am sure that a new glass version with SS posts will come along soon!

I think the jury is still out on the Brass issue, but I am in the 'why risk it?' camp, the problem comes down to what the composition of the cheap brass is, some contain lead to make it more malleable etc.
That version has a good deck on it (aside from the brass), it will make it a whole lot easier to mount coils.

fasttech usually take note of what people are saying in the discussions there, so they are probably sourcing a similar version already.

Are you using known tank cracking juice flavours? (Citrus mainly)
I mainly vape custards/creams/vanillas, so I am not as worried about tank cracking.

As was explained to me by the guys on the RDA section of ECF the Magma is a flavor dripper, not a cloud chaser dripper. I bought one on their recommendations and love it and it performs well with 2 standard 6-7 wrap 28g kanthal and cotton. It blows decent clouds but it really delivers the flavor. If you want an RDA for dual parallel coils sub ohming and all the Magma really isnt the RDA for that.

Here's a 26g Parallel on the Magma. 8 wraps around 1/8" bit, 0.6ohm if I remember correctly.

Always gotta give props to a clean build bro-. As sXd always says "Clean build bro." Great execution of the parallel. Leads not overlapping. Coils wrapped to perfection. Exquisite.

It looks like a well built coil, very neat.

Maybe it is just too big for the size and position of the airflow. The majority of your coil is out of the air channel, the ends of the coil are the main source of the vapour with a contact coil like yours, so if the air is not flowing past the ends then that might be the cause of the problem.
Your coil would probably be great in an RDA with air coming through a large slot in the side (big dripper, tobh etc).

Have you tried it with a smaller coil? (not necessarily a dual parallel coil)

I changed my build. I added more spacing so I have 1 single coil, that is 3x3. It looks like this.

Vaping Thug Juice and it is just great.

why aren't your wicks hanging into the juice well? That's kinda the point of the juice well....to soak up more juice as you vape.

In that picture the wicks were hanging in the juice well. I just trailed them backwards around the posts with the logic that it would reduce the chance that the wicks would overflow the area around the airhole, and that would reduce the chance of leaking. My wick are just going down the sides normally now.

Stnthemanchan, this rda has adjustable airflow for single and dual coils. there's no need to block one hole with a tootpick.
