They rock!! Gotta pay attention to what you're doing though - produce extremely low resistance compared to other coils
They double your juice consumption as well. I used them for awhile and went back to standard builds.
I just made my first tonight. For a single it's the best I've used yet, and it isn't even perfect!
Yeah, unless you're wanting to produce mega clouds I would stick with something else.
One could argue that a parallel coil is actually an interlaced dual coil with a slightly reduced wicking ability.
But OTOH one could argue against that too, and I don't want to turn this thread into a long winded nitpicking contest, so I'm just going to say

Loving my parallel coil. Using 26 awg kanthal on my trident v1 clone. I do indeed go through juice faster with it. My buddy does dual parallels and that's a little bit overkill for me. I like the warmth at about .3ohms and his is all the way down to .1ohms. A little scary for me! Maybe one I these days I'll nut up to it, but right now the single is awesome. I'll pick it up over my dual 24awg Helios clone 'most' o the time I like that bad boy a lot though.

They remind me of my hurricane coils (cuz I tried one once); They are a pain to make, look awesome, and burn juice by the gallon XD I swear, my dual hurricanes were awesome, but after the second drag the inside of my cap was SOAKED.
agreed,very low VPG with em and tend(for me) to burn my cotton a skosh if'n I ain't payin attention,which is most of the time..Used a single for a while on my helios and nimbus(drilled out the receiving holes) but went back to twisted coils and single strand macro/mini's.Bounced around tryin em all out.1 strand,2 strands 3 strands twisted etc.Did and do like the duel twisted strands in 30G ..I can put em up to 1.8 +- approx to go on a VV/VW and blow clouds out of my ar*e but tend to stay in the warm zones with my coils.It's a hoot buildin/rebuildin stuff.Just be careful with them.

I have a 7/6, 28 ga, at 5/64 in my mini protank 2 coming in at 1.2 and loving it but it does burn cotton if you are not careful but it is a far better vape and one to at least try.
Yep those parallels are really fun to mess around with.
Like the others said you have to be careful because they don't wick the best. Fewer wraps seem to work better but you might go too low doing that.
