parts for 808 ego thingy from V4L?

I coulda posted this here or in the KR808; sorry if I chose wrong....

I have an "EGO" from V4L which has 808 carto threads, and some enormous cartomizers. It has a USB port on the end under a metal threaded cap. It also has some threads between the button and the carto threads, which appear to have no purpose. There is a 5-click on/off function. I'm providing these details because I don't know if it is what you guys call an ego, echo, kgo, gogo, igo, or stop-n-go.

Anyway, V4L doesnt offer any accessories. Was looking for pointers on vendors who might. I think I found (after much digging) replacement cartos:
808 Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer
Are there any other vendors that carry these?

Also, what are the mystery threads above the button for? Who sells those accessories?
Any other accessories compatible with this device and who sells them?
Better yet, what is the generic name of this device so I can search more accurately?

I was looking at these because they are regulated 3.7- beats the heck out of my Joye unreg. 3.4 PT. I was simply going to get a 808-510 adapter and just use all 510 stuff.

The xtra threads are probably just for a cone, mostly for looks.

There are long cones and short cones, I didn't like the long cones personally, I think it was because it made the draw too tight. I like the short cones and you can get short cones from madvapes. I have the tapered silver ones and love how it covers those threads and makes it look nice, and is cheap! Next I am getting the straight ones tho because I tried one on recently that belonged to a friend at a vape meet, and that looks much better with a 3.5 ml tank, nice and straight lined. Less than $3 for the shorty cones.

I have never tried the ego specific cartos actually, I have tried different cartos on it and now use 1.7 smoktech cartos or tanks on mine. Actually, I did take a puff off of my friend's ego that had one of those mega ego cartos, she says they are great, and it did seem great. Plus I think she said you can put 5 mls in them? So I may be purchasing some in the future...

Look specifically for iGo stuffs, most of them supposed to fit the ego-style with 808 thread + outer/cone thread

If we're talking about the Ego-type 808's from SI, I asked and was told by the Rep that they were indeed regulated.

Yes check out Nhaler the IGO carts work well with the v4l ego all the IGO stuff woks with it .

does anyone have the silver V4L Ego?

This is going to sound dumb, warning!

I really want one of those things, but I'm worried I'm never going to be able to find a matching cone, reason being from the pic it looks like a more 'painted' silver look, not the standard stainless steel

So to reiterate, anyone with the silver V4L ego that can tell me what it looks like color wise and if you can get matching cones for it?

I don't know anything about cones, but the silver V4L Ego I have looks painted. Kind of a velvety feel to the paint. Definitely not stainless or any other bare metal. the end cap and button-collar up are chrome.

ETA: The endcap ohms out at 0, but the painted part is non-conductive.

You can use any iGo or Echo V cartos with it. I think Nhaler has more iGo accessories than anyone else. Go-Go, iGo, Echo, Riva/Ego, Indulgence, Elips

AFAIK, Echo V is a 'mythical' Echo for vGo batt (808 thread with skirt) as Echo E is for ego (510 thread with skirt). I said 'mythical' because it's almost impossible to find one... well, not on the place I know at least

V4l has the mega carts for sale on the site. The V4l Batts are not painted but have that rubberized finnish. SI has 808 xl carts for sale blan now as well.
