The 510 has an inline battery, so even when *not* at the comp, you can still 'take it with you.'

The inline bat passthroughs (like the 510/yeti) don't give you higher voltage in general (like a no battery passthrough, you get ~5v), but it is consistent, and I've stuffed it in a pocket before walking outside..back in, plug it back in.

The 510 uses a cigar battery, roughly double the mAh of the 510 batteries, so even constant vapers should see 3-4 hour from the USB passthrough battery (never ran it out myself, it's almost always plugged in..)

I have both a 901 and a 510 pass through personally I prefer the 510 as it produces more vapor. The 901 does work well but what can I say I'm a vapor addict
