Passthrough Ideas

I've always wondered if you could get into one of those and change the preset voltages. 3.2, 3.7, 4.2, 4.7, 5, and 6 would be awesome.
It shouldn't matter. Atty's are just like a resistor, current can go either way.
The plug but now that I think about it it isn't that important. You could buy an extra bottom cap. Drilll it out and mount a plug. Mount the negative lead where when you press the button it connects and run the posative up somehow to the floating posative pin.
You could probably just have the positive running through a machine screw. Dunno what the threading is on the post, but I'm sure Imeo can fill us in on that. Drill right down through that, attach a wire through it to the machine screw, screw the dummy battery in, and bob's your uncle.
The original passthrough that was out awhile ago would be perfect. Imeo do you have any future plans bringing it back??

He mentioned he wants to make more USB passthroughs. I think we have been keeping him pretty busy with all of our requests though. Or it could be he wants to outsource the actual electronics.
You know, the Stealth Rethreader makes all of this a whole lot easier. Really all that needs to be made is a bottom cap with a 1/8" stereo plug and an extra long post. That + Main Body + Rethreader + Stealth Cap/Collection tank assembly = Win.

I will make it again guys, fright is right about this. I am just looking for a decent USB made in a factory. Thats all I need. And maybe I already found that factory. The rest of the pieces are easy for me. I have some serious work to do right now but I will do it for sure

You can make one using an end cap and a couple of receptacles from Radio Shack. Easier would be to find the passthru end cap and then all you have to do is make the cable. Here's one using a RS phone jack (same as 901 threads) and a carto tube. Wire it up, slide on the tube, and add an end cap to dress it up a bit.
