Easy-cheesy:

Take a 1aa or 2aa box, a heavy USB cable (USB printer cables usually have heavier wire, which is better), a momentary switch and an atomizer connector.

Use the red and black wires of the USB cable. Cut the other wires off. Red goes through the switch to the center of the atomizer connector, black goes straight to outside of atomizer connector.

Thats it? Wow, seems easy as pie :) Ill give it a whirl. Thanks mnealtx!

You'll probably need some epoxy to secure the atty connector since the plastic on most battery boxes is too thin to hold it well enough just by press-fitting. The nikostik tutorial gives you most of the info you need only the power is coming from the usb cable instead of the battery; just a case of braking pulling out one of the contacts to make hole for the cable to enter.

I like Warp's RCA mod, myself - quick attach/detach and you can use any atomizer with the same box - just have to build a holder for the specific atty.

Ya i've read about that, i guess im just not a text tutorial kind of guy cause it makes no sense how to do it. I've seen pics on the finished product, just don't get how to do it.

That one's pretty easy...Warp put pics in his RCA thread - don't recall what post they were in, though.

You put the female side in the box and wire it up.
Take the male side and open it up. Cut off the flat, t-shaped insulation crimp part.
Cut off the unthreaded end of the barrel and file the cut end down to where the very center nub of the RCA connector (on the inside after you unscrew the barrel) touches the center of the atty connector that you'd usually put in your nicostick.
Glue in place, then make a solder bridge between the outside of the connector and the barrel.

..... im guessing the process is easier than the steps sound lol.

One deciding factor I guess regarding the RCA mod is that if its permanent when connected to the atomizer.

Might not work for me since I switch from stock battery to mod battery to passthrough all the time throughout the day depending on where I am. Might be easier for me to stick with standard battery connector.

It really is easier than it sounds. If you look at a male rca from ratshack or similar, you see a hole in the barrel where the wire goes. You open that up so that you can put your battery connector in there.

There's no permanent attachment to the atomizer - you can swap atomizers just like you would with a 'normal' nicostick, since the battery threads are on the removable male RCA. What I like about it is that it's a universal system. You make a male side with the battery connector for the various atomizers you have, and ONE nicostick or USB passthrough works with all of them - plug and play, so to speak.
