Passthrough Options

I was thinking about purchasing a passthrough device. A lot of my vaping is near a computer, so no need to eat up battery life cycles if it is not needed. Just wondering what people would recommend as options. I am looking more for a simple, no frills, and kind-to-the-wallet option. I know some egos have the passthrough option, and am looking for other ones either with or without battery. TIA

edit: Wall outlets are fine as well, I didn't know there was a difference. Just looking for something to use while at home.

If you go 5V, you can't use your computer USB port. You'll have to get a wall adapter to properly fire it. You're best bet for using a USB port is to go with the eGo PT.

i use the Piper ego-style variable voltage passthrough. Got it from Vaporkings.com, good price, been very happy with it. It needs at least a 1000mAh power source - the front port on my macbook pro works fine, but good to check your ports' output before you order.

A 5 volt pass through (PT) will give you warmer vaper and better throat hit. But you will only get that benefit, as well as not harm your PC by using a 5 volt/2 amp adapter. Here is a good place to get both:

Thanks for the recommendation guys. I guess I will go with the ego passthrough. The link Seattle40 posted has some great prices. Actually getting one of these as a present for my dad. It would be great if I could convert him to vaping too. Any other suggest. I will be buying in the next week or two. TIA

Those eGo battery passthroughs are a good deal and the best of both worlds - easy usb charging without a wall plug, as you're only charging the battery, and the flexibility to have a ready-to-go battery in a pinch.

Except they are only 3.7 volts instead of 5 volts. Much rather have the warmer vapor of the 5 volt model and no need to use LR attys.

I have used Mike & Carols 3 or 4 times, don't even know how I found them. Mike is a very nice guy, answered all my questions, and I have had no problems.
He said he keeps his prices down by only offering a few proven products, and not having to stock all the colors etc...
