Passthrough/portable power advice

Great forum. Just coming up to my 7th day of smoke-free vaping (1st time in 20 years!!)

I bought a 'MiLi power miracle' USB portable power supply to use with my automatic passthrough on my 401.

The power supply has a similar spec to the Kensington ones that have been much praised on this forum - Output: DC 5V/1.0A, Capacity: 2000mAh.

The problem is - although my passthrough works brilliantly with my PC, it fails on the Mili. The passthrough LED lights up - but nothing else! I've read about making a 'direct' passthrough but it looks like these have to be manual (??). Is it possible to make an automatic direct passthrough by removing the battery (which I am assuming is located on the white tube of the 401 passthrough). I really prefer automatic vaping.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The output is at 1.0 A. May need higher amp to run a PT. Heard some folks buying a wall adpator that puts out 5 volts 2 amps. Also can find a car charger with the 2 amps output. These are not portable (need to be pluged in to home / car) but should run the PT.
