Passthru car adaptor for 5volt????

So if I Get a usb adaptor For my car if it is rated at 5v. output &max 1000 mA this should work for a 5volt passthru correct. I see othrs only have 500-700 mA.

I would get 2 amps (2000 mA). My PT would barely work with a 1 amp. I got one at Fry's, took a while to look at them all until I found a 2 amp one, works great!

Thanks I thought from comparing some that 1000 mA would be 2 amp. The one v4l sells that they say works with there 5 v. stats are 5v 1000 mA. What brand do you have Thanks

v4l has 2amp ones in stock tho from what i remember reading they just havent updated the site. i recomend a 5v 2a. i use a 6v 2.5 amp in the car myself
