Here's my Mini Mode Ody Passthru
The hardware to drive it, and handle what you want to do, is a Mastech.

Para,

Do you have any more info on this setup? I see where to buy the mastech but I'm wondering how you've got your GG hooked up. Obviously there is a passthrough piece. Have you hard wired that USB into the power supply? Also, does this in effect give you variable voltage? Sorry if these are noob questions. Very cool setup.

No problem....a PT has 2 wires (+/-) and a switch between the atomizer and the power source...that's it. The 2 USB wires go into the power source and then connect to the PT. A wall plug adapter works really well and is like 8 bucks, but it's a fixed 5v/2a setup.

I really want to see it working Para. Thats a very clever desigh to me. Keep gtoing and bring it to market. Many people will be very happy with it!

I knew, sooner or later, I would bend or break the vertical SS tube so I went at it from another angle. One thing lead to another.....and this is what I ended up doing. It's easy and it works (that's the goal).

The vertical wires are solid so they stay how they are moved; the clips make for solid contact with the wires and and produce a more accurate reading.

Clip the two to get a base resistance reading (.4)

Then clip the R wire in one and the NR wire in the other (2.4)

....where it's held will produce a 2.0 ohm coil

haha, I love Para's meter mods :)

This one gave me an idea I'll have to try. I think I'll take a couple short wires and attach an alligator clip on each end, one to clamp onto my meter probes and the the other onto my coil wire. gotta steal a couple of clips from work first, though, it's not something I keep on hand at home
