passthru out of a dead batt

I made one out of a dead batt and a 5 volt 2 amp DC adapter (wal wart?).
So I am sure it is possible..It is microsurgery however.And takes a bit of luck (for me)..I would not do it again because for $10 or $15 I could have bought one and just twisted wires together to get what I wanted..I wanted more than the half amp from the usb.
I used a 510 batt cut about 1/4" past the button.

is it possible to make one out of a dead battery and a USB cord?
Search all posts in modders Forum originated by Cisco and you'll see what to do...you will need a switch also to make the passthru manual.
