Do you plan to switch your payment processor from PayPal any time soon?

I'm having problems getting a payment made through PayPal. Mainly because they won't let me use my credit card if I have made another credit card purchase through them. It appears they wait until that order has been processed (paid) before they will let you use it again for other purchases. They won't even let you use a different credit card. I've tried today to make my purchase but PayPal won't let me use my other credit card for the order.

Just wondering when and if you'll be moving away from PayPal. I'd like to get my stock up before and if the e-cigs get banned from sale.

Thanks!

I have to wonder if all this paypal nonsense isn't more about chargebacks than it is about processing payments to e-cig vendors.

I still see sites processing thru paypal, sites that are obviously e-cig related.

I'm wondering if perhaps some sites are accidentally double charging customers (very easy to do with some of the card processing software). Or perhaps people are hitting the "buy" button on their browsers more than once.

Or perhaps people are ordering this stuff, and when they get it are not satisfied or not what they expected, then call their credit card banks and try to have the payment nulled.

I am pretty sure that chargebacks aren't the problem. ASH wrote to PayPal threatening them. The PayPal exodus has been swift and brutal. Unrelated to anything other than an attempt to shut down the e-cig industry.

Clearly, they have no idea how resourceful we are.
They switched off yet another yesterday -- an e-liquid supplier. That one is now trying to set up with a CC processor. I keep hearing that Paypal is insisting they aren't targeting e-cig vendors, but there certainly have been a number of shutdowns, haven't there? Coincidence?

Well...Paypal is owned by eBay, and as I understand it eBay has a "no e-cigs" policy. So perhaps this is just eBay applying its policy to Paypal, one vendor at a time... the old frog-slowly-boiling-in-the-pot scenario.

Paypal e-mailed me a survey URL -- a routine follow-up to a phone call I placed to their customer service dept. I answered one question about satisfaction overall with a less than enthusiastic response, and the web site then presented a text box in which I could explain why. I said I was upset about these shutdowns. For whatever it's worth...probably not much. They'll probably read that stuff and think Oh, whatever...who cares about those people anyway...

That is probably the problem.. Some bad apples ruin it for the rest of us...

having access to the private suppliers forums i can say its not about bad apples or chargebacks its about paypal choosing not to handle US e cig accounts..

enough US sellers have had their paypal accounts shut down to verify this..

its partly connected to a suggestion that without FDA approval its not legal to sell them.. paypal seem to have taken this suggestion seriously enough to say no e cig sold via paypal.. as yet it seems to be a US (FDA) thing..
