This not meant to start up all the whoooo-haaa again about the credit card processor being down......but.....

I just placed my first order (very small order) with Copper Creek. And to my delight they had the PayPal option. I jumped on it. PayPal is always my first choice when given the option. But during all of the credit card discussion here I think it was mentioned that FreedomeSmokeUSA couldn't use PayPal as a payment option because PayPal is owned by Ebay, and Ebay prohibits the sale of all tobacco related products.

But I just checked out using PayPal. So could maybe David or Pam or somebody explain again why we can't use PayPal with FS? And please (David) understand that I am NOT being snarky. I'm just confused now.

My understanding is that selling anything ecig related is a breach of paypal usage agreement. I am not commenting on anyone who may choose to do this, and risk the breach, but I am pretty sure FSUSA don't want to do anything underhand. I know there are ways around it, but they are still breaching, just breaching without getting caught.

I'm sure David will be in to correct me if Im' wrong.

Paylapl froze our account the first weekend of sales. We sell alot of juice. Competition is tough and someone undoubtedly reported us. If copper creek got a dime dropped on them like we did, their account would be frozen too. along with all the money in it. And it's a huge battle to get your money out of them. Then they watch you like a hawk afterwards.
Ask any big vendor and they will tell you the same thing. Paypal is not cool with e-cig sales at all, unfortunately...

not a problem. Trust me, I would run full bore with paypal if I could, I use them almost every day personally for things I buy, transfers to friends and family etc. I would use them in a heartbeat if possible. Pam and I are always seeking new ways to allow folks to pay us easily. Anytime folks have suggestions we listen...
