I recently bought two shorty manuals and a pcc. When I screw my batts into the pcc, the button on the batt faces down, which causes the case not to close properly. When the case is closed, the button remains depressed which prevents charging. My solution is to screw it in all the way and then back it up until the button faces up. Has anyone else noticed this?

Now for the teeth. Has anyone else noticed their teeth hurting when vaping? I vaping almost constantly while at the comp and have started noticing an ache in my front teeth. Not that big a deal, but though I'd see if anyone else has experienced this.

When i first started vaping it wasn't my teeth that hurt but my gums. Got all swollen and they were bleeding too, I searched the forums and one poster suggested that the nicotine in the vapor was causing my symptoms. Just when i decided to go see a Dentist, the problems went away.
But still, go to your Dentist just to be sure!

You should be able to unscrew it just a little bit until the button faces up and it should still charge.

That's what I already do. I said that in the post you quoted.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had come across this. You'd think they'd manufacture these things so that the button always faces up. But, maybe there's too much variance in the threads to be able to do that.

Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one with sore teeth. I tend to stay away from the sweeter flavors so that I can avoid it as much as possible. I've notice that my teeth don't hurt at all using coffee and cinnamon roll, but they hurt like hell with clove, and to a lesser extent with irish cream.

It is not practical to assume they would ever be able to line up all the threads of all batts with the orientation of the button, and to further coincide with a uniform thread pattern on the PCC socket. As posted many months ago, the solution is to have a circular cutout at the nominal location of the button within the PCC case so the battery can be secured in the charging position at any rotational orientation; this of course has yet to be implemented.

I am a Registered dental assistant and have been for 18 years. I think that the vapor may irritate your gums (which make your teeth ache) if your gums are irritated to begin with. I think flossing and brushing the area that is hurting will ease the sorness after a week or two. Just saying, I see it everyday and most people who have gums that are sore brush and floss less because it hurts more at the moment. It should not ever hurt to brush or floss. Seeing your Dentist is the best bet. The Dentist I work for just purchased V4L for his father in law. I will ask him tomorrow about this. :)

im using a joye 510 and it came with a PCC in the package i got. on my pcc, the batt does not screw in. you just put it in thread first and it is spring loaded. when you close the lid it begins to charge. there is even a cut-out to allow for positioning of the button.

i wasnt aware that there were other styles. glad i ended up with this one. so easy to use.
