Hi all,
Been vaping for about a month or so now. Bought a PCC with my kit and am having an issue with it charging the way it's supposed to.
I can only get 2-3 charges before the bottom red light comes on and the PCC unit has to recharge. I've read it's supposed to get 4-5 batts charged before needing a recharge itself. This unit came with my kit, so it's about a month old as well. Never been dropped or mishandled in anyway.
Took it with me the other day as I planned to be gone a while. It was fully charged. Used up one battery, stuck it in the PCC, charged it with no problem. Used another battery, switched out the fully charged batt and put discharged batt in PCC. It charged the second. On the third attempt, the PCC light went from green to red and would not charge my 510 batt at all.
Now, I realize this is better than 1 charge, but when it's advertised to charge 4-5 times before needing a recharge, and I'm only getting 2-3 charges, I get a bit frustrated.
Anyone else experiencing this?
As soon as I can afford it, I'm moving to an EGO, Riva, or Hello. Right now, sadly, this is not an option :(

I keep the PCC plugged in at all times when home - is this a problem?
Other than that, I don't mess with it other than to change out batts.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

It is the possibility that the battery in the PCC is wearing down, especially if you are using the pcc as your main charger. I would e-mail the vendor it was purchased from though and see if this is normal after a month. I wouldn't leave it plugged in at all times, just as a matter of safety.

Thanks HzG8rGrl
As soon as my email is back up and running again, I will do that. AND, unplug the PCC ;)
Thanks again!

Garrell: I've never seen the middle light on, even when the PCC is in my car next to me. It goes from no light, to the bottom red light being on. The only time I see the green light on the bottom is when it's plugged into the wall socket - never when I unplug it. As soon as I unplug, whatever color (red or green) light goes out instantly.
But again, I've never seen the middle light on at all. And I've been watching it pretty closely the last few days after noticing I'm not getting alot of charges out of it.

it could simply be that it needs to be cleaned. If the battery is not making good contact it will not charge. Its possible that it is taking more power to charge the 2-3 batteries because it is dirty. I used one PPC as my main charger for a year and its still going strong. However, I also only plugged it in when needed.

If you look at the sides, you will see two small screws. Take those screws out, open it up, grab a couple q-tips and give it a good scrubbing.

Hopefully that will help.
