I like how it looks, yes, very tight and I don't know how you did it.

Unfortunately the next size on a box will be a project box and it is much bigger to the one you used.

Unless you find a box that houses some other device that you are willing to rip out.

Hopefully I will get this post through before the site goes down. Thanks for the kind words. It can be done using this type of setup. This is what the Janty Stick should be, at least a pro version of this. A long lasting battery with on-board charging and passthrough.

Great job there!

I am planning on my first ever mod. Something like the little brother of yours. I am thinking of gutting a chinese usb passthrough. 300mAh isn't like the 1350mAh you are using, bur hey i'm talking real cheap mod there ($11).

Very nice mod! I might give this one a try, I recently made a related mod I basically gutted my pcc case (i.e. why i might try your mod) and strapped in a parallel 18650 pack (3.7v but holds voltage at 4.2 for hours) put an rca jack on the top and a switch on the side. it's a little bit more bulky than a 2aa battery box, but it still fits nice in my hand. I should probably wire it up a bit different right now i just put it in a place where the button stays pressed down in order to charge it through the same RCA jack. Originally I wanted to keep the PCC board in it for USB charging. (the PCC board would handle charging an 18650 wouldn't it?) Just note a 17*** battery would fit perfectly the 18650 makes just a bit too tight of a fit. I just couldn't find a parallel 17670 dual pack so I made the 18650 work. I might actually try to use your mod in the ultrafire 18650 case I got from batteryjunction, swapping the PCC battery with a bigger one it's just too much work for me making mods soldering etc. unless they pack some power.
