Hi,

I don't know anything about electronic stuff and was wondering if someone could answer a question for me. I've got a J118 and often use a PCC for my batteries. The last two times I placed a battery in the PCC the battery died. The LEDs comes on, but they don't heat the atty. Is it possible for a PCC to kill batteries? I'm a little afraid of trying another battery in it until I know whether or not to chalk this up to coincidence.

Thanks for any help!

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. No, the atty is fine, it works with other batteries and my usb thingy. I tried the batteries on a couple attys, no go. :(

Perhaps its just time for those batterys to be layed to rest... My GF have gone through 2 of her 510s and the led still lights up but dies after a puff or 2... it was just there time hehe. LEDs take VERY little power to activate so thats not gonna be the best indication that they are no longer useable, only performince will be the true indicator

Not sure on your model.

But the DSE models have (on both the atomizer and the battery) a contact plate with a rubber ring/washer to hold it in the center of the threaded connector.

It is possible that the connection plate on the batteries has been pushed in and now is recessed far enough so there is no connection with the atomizer contact plate.

If you take a wooden toothpick or other instrument, you can insert it in the center whole, twist, and wiggle until you see the conact plate pull out a bit.

If you do not have this type or there is no hole in the center, you will have to try another way to adjust.
