PCC question

We just received our Joye 510 PCCs and have a couple of questions.
Do you keep your PCC charging in your USB port all the time or is that not good for it? Simple question but a Search here didn't give me anything.
Also, can you have a battery in it while you're charging or is that a "don't do"?

I have kept it charging after the green light has came on but I am a noob too. Yes you can charge a battery and the PCC at the same time.

Rather than a USB port directly on your computer, I suggest that you use a self powered USB hub. I do that for any device that I charge through USB, such as my cell phone. Less chance of damage to the computer.

I think it's fine to keep charging it while the green light is on, and I second the idea of charging through an ac/usb connection. I fried a motherboard with an ipod shuffle once!

I love my pcc but it's a bit more delicate than it looks. Two weeks in and the pin holding the lid closed popped off. A piece of electrical tape holds mine shut now.

not really but would it hurt an old laptop dell p2.ive charged mine a few times plugged right in?8-o

I've not had any trouble with mine. I charge the PCC with a battery in it all the time. I don't see how it would hurt it at all.

Anybody have any lifespan estimates on these things? I'm thinking about buying a second one to have as a backup, but not too sure.

Probably not...dell laptops are notorious for underpowered usb ports though!

I fried mine with static electricity, plugged it in and "pop". So if you're walking on carpet, be sure to ground yourself before plugging it in

AAHHH! Maybe I'll find a wall outlet USB. We have all Dell laptop computers.

I have a car charger that accepts a USB cord. Can you charge your PCC with the car charger? Any problem?

I've been charging my PCC successfully through the car charger cord. I wouldn't know what to do without it actually! (buy more batteries I guess).

My USB passthrough also works in the car charger port, my 510 passthrough anyways. My M401 passthrough will light the led, but doesn't get enough power to vape.

I've charged my pcc anywhich way you can imagine. Through the car, wall w/ a usb adapter, car. All with no problems.

Yes, you can charge a batt and pcc at the same time

Take it off the charger once the bottom light turns green, that is if you have a 3 light pcc. There are 2 light ones. If you have one of those, I'm not sure of the light layout.

Hey Cliff, I'm in Vancouver, BC and enjoying the Olympics so far. Don't have tickets to any of the events but it's still fun. Saw the torch go by last week and was vaping away in the crowd!
