Got some toasty feed back here If you have more ideas feel free to post them. Here is the wiki for peaty It is the grassy flavor in scotch. My too favorite flavors. Hopefully I can get some good suggestions

I don't think there is any flavor or flavor combination that would replicate the peat notes of a good highland single malt. Guess that's why they can charge so much for the real thing!!

thinking of maybe soaking some PG in peaty wood chips. Have you heard that working?
