Not a fluke IMHO. Put it by a fan with the cap off for a week. I did that and it is yummy after. It takes a little while for the acky taste to go away but when it does it is worth it. If it still taste like acky maybe you got a bad bottle or something. But I would give it more time with the cap off.

Ok, then I would assume from this that because he uses such a big ratio of flavor at 40% more ethyl alchohol is gonna get into the mix from the flavoring. That would make sense. Thanks for your answer!

Oh, is the fan necessary? How about outside at 90F with chanook winds?

No clue on the fan. That is what I did. Think it helps get rid of the acky taste faster. Just look out for animals, small kids, and other things that can make the bottle fall.
Tell me how it works out. It is an interesting taste. Not as strong as the butterscotch but nice and strong. Watch out for the winds might knock your bottles over. COV juice is amazing and worth it but it is expensive.

I'll definitely have to try this out. I tried my first butterscotch recently (Pure Vapes butterscotch cookie) and loved it. I happened to be helping a credit cardless friend out with an order from Vape Rite yesterday, and noticed they have a new 2X Butterscotch, so I threw one in for myself. Next on the list will be COV's.

What I've found is there is butterscotch and then there is the real butterscotch. I've ordered a few bottles from here and there and what I got was not sweet butterscotch but rather an unpleasant burnt scotch taste or a more of a butter rum taste which is ok but not what I ordered. I'm still not sure that airing out alky taste from bottles of juice for a week is going to be worth it to me, can probably get what I'm looking for without that hassle but I do like the organic juices best.

I'd be willing for a really terrific butterscotch and kettle corn. I'm buying about 90ml a week since hubby also vapes and I'd have to have some ready to vape while the next weeks batch is airing out. Think I'll get a few smaller bottles since they would probably air out quicker, and see how it goes. Right now I've got the Kona Cream airing out again, I put it in a dish on top of the outside airconditioner that has that fan going all the time, but don't know if the 90+ heat out there is good for it or not. You'd think some heat would help the alky evaporate quicker.

I hear that if it gets above 100 degrees outside you should bring it in. Taste it after a couple of days. Don't think you need the full week everyone is different. If it gets really hot out there. Just bring it inside but it in a darker place you will not knock it over with the cap off.

Thanks for that info, it's nesting right now on top of my dryer in the laundry room. Here's the thing, I just saw flavorings on a vendors website that said they were organic and free of ethyl alchohol. Don't know if this is something very new, seems all the flavorings I've read about have some alky in them. If that's a new product I'm sure it will catch on with the vendors who do the organics, hopefully soon. I'm just really sensitive to the alky, and strangely only when it's in the organic juices. I can't tell it's there when using the regular PG/VG juices. Isn't that weird?

Strange. I think most non organic flavors are not acky based. So that is probably why you don't notice them. Please PM me the vendor of those flavoring and update me if you try any of them. As you maybe can tell I am not into the "organic" trend. I just like juices that taste great. This juice stand out as amazing in particular. The acky taste goes away for me after I leave the top off next to a fan for a while. Then just great in your face flavoring. All the best juices I have need to steep like that to get rid of the perfume or acky taste.

Nice how are the others? I tried a couple other vendors butterscotch and it was strange. This is my favorite one. Tell me what you think when you try it.

I liked the PureVapes Butterscotch Cookie a lot. To me it tasted like a sweet, extra buttery butterscotch (it seemed like more butterscotch than cookie). The flavor was really strong, which is what I like. I'll definitely be getting more. I've also had FSUSA 'Hopscotch'. I gave that one a shot after reading a lot of good things about it. It was decent, but weak in flavor for my taste.

I haven't tried the VapeRite organic 2X Butterscotch yet. (Waiting for it to arrive). I've had their English Toffee. It had a good flavor, but seemed a bit mild in flavor. With '2X' in the name, I'm hoping the butterscotch will be stronger.

This is the best butterscotch I have tried so far. Love it!! I tried it at a local meet on Saturday, in 2 different mgs, in 8 mg & in 16 mg. I prefer 12 mg but will sometimes go higher. To me the 8 mg tasted better so I bought a 30 ml bottle of 8 mg right there at the meet. Awesome butterscotch!! Others at the meet also tried it and were raving over it!

In general they taste the same but to me the 8 mg just tasted a little better, and since I could go either way...

Nic does have a taste to it so the higher nic level a juice gets, yeah it can taste different...

Are you referring to the COV butterscotch or another ?
