Peeling Paint on atomizer ?

I have been using the same atomizers for a few months! I just had 2 start peeling paint near the cartridge end !

Any ideas! Are the atomizers OK to use?

Several of mine also have the paint peeling off. I was told by others on the forum it was because I cleaned my attys in alcohol. It is annoying but I have had no problems using them. Just make sure you wash off all the peeling paint when you clean them so the paint flecks don't get into the atty itself.

I am not sure of the grit size, but I know I have read where some members just sand off the paint when they start to peel.

Wont hurt a thing as long as you dont let the paint chips get into the atomizer coil. vaping paint chips would not be good. But you did good mine usually start losing paint after two weeks or so. Knock offs will lose paint even quicker.

Get some wire wool/steel wool and sand it off. You can pick it off too but it tkes longer. They look kinda cool in 'steel' and it won't affect its performance.

Edit: Cover the vent holes and threaded end with tape or something to prevent any paint flecks getting into the bottom of the atty.

All my 510 attys peeled so I just scraped them off with a key.

when mine start peeling I put a cart cap on them and tape the battery end and sand them off with 600 grit sand paper, then 2000 grit. It makes them look more brilliant than stainless.
