Pen Style Mod with Variable Wattage Control

I vape on an i joy elf tank at 15 watts and would like to purchase a Pen mod with variable wattage control. A removable battery would be a plus, any suggestions?

Yep. Pick a larger form factor. There’s barely enough room in a pen mod for a sealed battery, let alone all the electronics you seem to want. The smallest sealed battery mods with the features you want are pretty small, they’re just not pen style.
There is a thread on small devices Little itty bitty mods under $100. which may help you.

Looking at the joy elf it seems like it’s 22mm anyway, so it won’t even fit comfortably on a pen battery anyway. What you probably want is a single 18650 VG tube mod. There are a few of those around. The highest end one is a German company called I think digitronics or something, but there are decent lower priced ones as well. The nunchaku comes to mind for one.

The EHPRO 101 (not the pro) can take an 18350 if you want to go 'shorty'. Although the EHPRO mods use a single button, the menu's pretty easy to use (but watch a few reviews).

Fwiw, I think iJoy released a regulated tube mod not too long ago. The 'Saber'?

Plus 1 for the Ehpro 101. A great tube style mod . It will take a 24mm tank if you don't mind the overhang.

I think there's a larger diameter 85 w 101 mod that will take a 24 mm tank without overhang.

If you are sold on a removable battery you will probably have to forget about a pensized. Years ago they made 14500 battery mods but they have disappeared. The old SID or original Evic would be a tube shape but the size of an 18650 battery (or 18350 with a short tube).

You might like something like a T-18 for a narrower tube shape but it's an internal battery.
