They have all worked fine interchangeably all this time. Wake up this morning and suddenly they don't. Including the same make, including the tanks I bought them with. The sad part is that the nicer tanks are working on the scrappy batteries and the scrappy tanks are working on the nicer batteries. Up until today they have all worked interchangeably. Anybody know why and what I can do about it, if anything?

Sounds like connector pin problems. it usually happens when the tank positive pin (the center pin) pushes the positive pin on the device down too far and the rubber grommet no longer "bounces" it back up when the tank is removed. It could also be dried juice or dirt on any of those pins.

If you think things are dirty, take a corner of a tissue and roll it to a point. Wet it with alcohol. Make sure yor batteries/devices are turned off, and clean the connectors.

If that doesn't work, try taking a small screwdriver and going around the pin and GENTLY prying it up JUST A BIT. Make sure when you finish that the center pin isn't pushed to the side, that it's in the center.

Hopefully, one of these two tricks of the trade will solve it. If not come on back and let us know.

If the center pin on any of your tanks, the part that makes contact with the center pin on the battery, is longer than the other tanks it could have pushed down the pin in your batteries. Check youtube for videos on how to fix "ego center pin issue" by gently prying it up some. Hopefully that's all it is.

Here's the video to go along with the above advise: Center Pin Issue - Fixing a non firing eGo battery

If you continue to have problems, buy a few spacers from MadVapes. They solve all connectivity problems. Just drop one into the 510 well of your battery and you're good to go! You can thank ECF member GinnyTx for this little tidbit!:)

Thank you all so much!! Problem fixed, it WAS the pin! Really weird it happened to 2 out of 3 batteries all on the same day my new evod battery arrived and it too had the pin out of alignment. If my life ever made sense I wouldn't know how to behave, lol I've been using q-tips and tissue and was wondering if I cud use alcohol, so Thx for that info too. Happy Vaping! B-)
