If you have a Provari Mini you need an extension cap to use 18490/18500's. If you have a regular Provari, you need an extension cap to use 18650's.

And the extension cap is the exact same size/configuration for both models. I have a std and a mini provari and one extension cap works for both models.

Guess I'll be looking for one on the classies or looking for an easy way to make 2.5 ohm coils as 2 hour batt switch outs are a pain and I don't feel safe walking around with 5 extras in my pocket.

You should get 36 awg and make life easier, youll have alotta coils trying to get that resistance with 32 awg. Also the penelopy shines with alot of airflow so adjust your center pin as low as u can . I find the sweet spot for the ody/ penelopy is 1.8 ohms at 4 volts with 36 awg, just my opinion tho

How many wraps with 36 Jason?
How long a piece?

Thanks,

Chris

Yea 4 cm and u'll get 1.7-1.9 depending how much you use twisting the no res and res together. But seems like you found what works for you, but I think the more coils you wrap the less juice can be supplied to all of them , just my thoughts tho. 36 awg I usually get 4 wraps and it's awsome every time, give it a try one day
