Usin the small cig-alike device i would make a 30ml bottle last over a month. Using an ego+clearomizer the same amount lasts 2 weeks. She weren't far off. Maybe 10ml lasts her a week eh.
I go through about 5ml per day. Some juices seem to go down faster than others, maybe because they taste better at a higher temp? Many variables in how much per day a person goes through. Delivery system, heat, viscosity of the liquid, nic strength etc.. I plan for worse case and am happy when it's less 
I'm not really seeing a problem here, but that's just me.
Did you correct her or talk to the store manager about it to make sure this doesn't happen to other people?

Low voltage on a standard res carto versus if you were vaping at say 4.5V on a 1.5 ohm SS wick RBA is a very different vaping experience, with a very different consumption rate.
When I was on the little look alikes, a 10ml bottle @18mg would have lasted me a week. Likely more like 2 weeks. Those things put out so little vapor, and I was trying my best not to overfill which for me wasted liquid to leaks or shooting into my mouth.
Even on my midsize egos with clearos, where I was using more juice, 10ml would last me about a week. I had to down my nic level because the (comparative) clouds of vapor were giving me way too much with that setup.
Now that I'm on the lambo and properly driving my gear, that would only last me like 4 days.

I was wondering about how much juice one could go thru in a day. Thanks for the info.
I smoked 2+ packs a day for over 43 years. Chain smoker in the later years. Now I'm a chain vaper. I generally run through approximately 8 to 10 ml. in 24 hrs., using a 3.7 unregulated mod type devices (telescope, LavaFire, Bolt etc.) and 2ohm single coil cartomizers in 6ml. cartotanks. I vape a little less (6 to 8ml.) if using EMSCCs at 2ohm SC...but it's a toss up when I can get good ones, so I'm mostly using the cartotanks now.
[Edit] I vape 4mg. nicotine strength...so that probably figures into the high consumption. I also DIY my juice so cost isn't much of a factor.

That sums it up nicely. Since the vivi's and clearos put out so little vapor, you will use less and that is just fine for a lot of people. I found out I like the huge clouds and flavor, so end up anywhere from 5 to 10 ml per day at 18 mg. around 7 watts on an RBA or cartotank. I know some people who like a much warmer vape and power through more.
It is so individual as to what each person likes, so to just state "10 ml. will last a week" is a disservice. They would be better off telling customers that it varies per person, with the average being between 3 and 5 ml per day (last time I saw a poll I think that was the most popular amount). As always, YMMV.
how much used is something that varies greatly.... the wife uses less then 1ml a day, i can power thru 10ml's each day. we run the same exact setup volcano brand lavatube with vivi nova or dcc tanks. she vapes 0mg i vape 18-24mg. so to say that there is a average is unlikely, and yes we were both smokers.
Excellent, did you tell her that you vape and you vape more than that? Did you talk to her at all about what she said?
Maybe she approaches people different based on their level.
I vape around 4 - 5 ml a day easily at 18mg nic. Weekends I can run through a touch more. I was a PAD smoker and I am currently using Twists and Vivi Minis.
As a matter of fact, this past weekend I timed how long it took me to kill a 1000 mAh eGo Twist and I did it in a shade under 16 hours. I wasn't trying to kill it intentionally but I noticed that on weekends my Twists tend to die faster and I was concerned that the batteries were losing charging capability but it was actually my chain vaping on weekends.
At 4.0v w/ a 2.0 ohm carto I kill my twist in about 7 hours...I timed it.
But I mean seriously, I vape CONSTANTLY

I vape 9 mg...I would use lower if I could get it in my fav flavors.

I've noticed some juices tend to vape away a lot faster than others for the same quantity of vapes during the day??
Some liquids I vape more because they have a poor taste and I don't get any satisfaction from the vaping with them.
I find a good strong flavourful juice with a moderate throat hit satisfies my psyche and on those juices I manage about 2-3 ml a day. - I average about 30ml every ten days in the long term - which aint that bad!
