I went into the local store and the women there tried selling me on the ecig. She did not know that I had at least some idea of what I was doing. Anyway, she proceeds to tell me that a 10ml bottle of liquid would last me an entire week, based on the fact I told her I had a pack a day habit???????? I can't see it myself, totally wrong to mis-lead people like that IMO..

If you do a search on that you will see a lot of sites saying that 10ml = 1 week, some even say 2 weeks.

Found some posts here talking about 2 PAD smokers using 3ml, 1.5ml/pack.

My consumption of ml increased after the 1st week on 24 mg. My consumption of ml has increased as I've moved from 24mg to 18mg. Varies, usually ~5ml/day.

Some people use less, some use more, lots of variables.

I think people are getting more nicotine when switching to vaping. How many times have you heard about smokers feeling bad because of too much nicotine versus vaping?

She didn't lie, she gave the average for a new 1 PAD vaper.

And yet after saying that, I wonder how much you spent on cigarettes when you smoked?

That's sort of a trick question. I live in the People's Republic of Maryland, where premium cigs run $7+ a pack. I think only NY and CA have higher tax on smokes than the PRM.

I spent literally TWICE as much on cigs in MD than when I lived in NC--and in NC I smoked more...

CA cigarette tax isn't nearly that bad. If smoked, I could go down to the gas station right now and buy a pack for much less than $5. The last time I bought cigarettes was in April when a carton of Camel Blue 99s was $42.

I keep watch on the price of what I used to smoke when I go shopping (NC), it's at $4.55/pack and $40.39/carton.

Same. Almost like the mall kiosks, but they tried to tell me a 5-pack of cartomizers should get me through a month with the same pack a day habit. Haha.
LOL same thing happened to me a 15 ml bottle for 25.00 bucks " That will last you almost a month" i was ashamed of myself when i powered thru the bottle in a week.

Probably not a lie some of these places especially the Tobacco shops that are trying to beak into the E cig biz just don't know squat. I had one lady sales person at a tobacco shop that was calling the standard cartos filtered. I figured she thought the wick material was a filter? I just saw a regular carto so some of these guys just don't know what they are selling. I think a good question when you walk in is "do you use one".
