Pepper Taste?

So i went along my normal process of steeping my e-juice. flavor came out great! tried the flavor again 2 weeks later and i still like the flavor but it has this weird pepper type of taste. is this common? how do i fix this?

The pepper taste is most likely from your nicotine base.

Have you tried vaping your nic base without adding any flavoring? I agree with Sdh in that it could be your nic. Although there are some peppery flavors out there. What flavors have you been using? and which brand of nic base, if I may ask?
