Peppermint oil? Try peppermint OMG!

So i picked up some peppermint oil by lorann today at walgreens to freshen up a custom liquid i had bought from tasty vapor that was begining to loose its minty taste as it aged...I put one drop in about 5 mil of liquid (
(Tester)..and now that is about 1% of flavor added based on ejuice me up. that single drop made it so extremely strong its unvapeable..the throat hit for me is so powerful it makes me gag .

So i found another thread dealing with peppermint oil and someone said to dilute it about 50% with 80 proof alcohol. So i tried that before i put it inside the second batch of juice, taste tested it and it actually tasted pretty good..still strong but not OMG level. when ahead and put 2 drops of that into what was left of the ejuice..around 10-15 mil....SIGH..Now i've gone and ruined the juice, i can taste the harshness of the alcohol, from only 2 drops!! GRR. Are there any super experienced ejuice makers out there that can give me a tip on how to use this oil, or what brand i should use for a nice mint with out it being peppermint OMG but still give the cool hit and flavor?

Take your 50/50 peppermint mix and add only one drop. Make sure you shake it really well before you put in the drops. Shake really well again when you add it to your juice. You may also want to try a little sweetener.

Peppermint & cinnamon oil are very strong but oh so good.

One other thing I thought of are you using the same att'y. Peppermint oil likes to hang around.

Tasty Puffs makes some different mint flavors. I haven't used them, but I have used some of the other Tasty Puff flavorings to add to E-liquids I bought and with unflavored liquid to make my own flavors. I've never had them affect my atty in any negative way. The Orange is really good mixed with Mint or Menthol liquid. You can pick them up online or at a lot of gas stations or head shops.

Peppermint and cinnamon oil sounds good.
Menthol crystals also make a good strong vape.
I am hoping to find more strong flavors w/o funky undertones.

The oil you're talking about is a very powerful and concentrated flavoring agent as you've found out. To give you an idea, a single drop is enough to flavor the icing on a four tier wedding cake! The best thing to do it to dilute it with a flavorless alcohol. And make it more of a 75% alcohol and 25% oil. And instead of adding more to get the peppermint taste, try adding something that will enhance or compliment the flavor. For example, if you would like a xmas themed juice, add a drop of diluted sugar cookie oil. Or a drop of wintergreen oil for a minty/menthol type taste.
