Hi, everyone. I’ve been using the Haus sub-ohm craft mod kit for many years and now they’re out of business. I LOVED this system but being a bottom load tank with 0.3 threaded coils & threaded coils seem to be a thing of the past (these were smaller then any of the newer ones I’ve tried) I have been unable to find coils that I could use instead of the Haus brand (since they no longer exist).

I bought a vaperoso GTX & while the battery unit was fine, the tank didn’t give the same experience I was used to so I searched for a sub-ohm tank and purchased an “iSub” tank with “0.5 coil” as well as a “Falcon” tank with “F1 coils”.

My settings on my Haus were 27w, fully open air-holes with 0.3 coils. I absolutely despise giant mouth pieces. I do not want to feel like I’m sucking on the end of a tail pipe so I focused my search on ones with a skinny mouthpiece. I generally take long, deep vape pulls.

Unfortunately after trying both of these new tanks I’m noticing a massive taste difference in my Mt. Baker Vapor Extreme Ice 50:50 PG/VG juice. The mouthpiece on the iSub isn’t removable so I can’t replace it with the stainless 510 haus mouthpiece that I love though I did the swap it on the falcon. I really enjoy it when taking a really long vape drag and it feels like it’s “bubbling?” - I can think of no better way to describe it so I hope you know what I’m talking about and the Falcon I got none of that no matter how I toyed with the power settings or airflow. I do get it on the iSub but the permanent mouthpiece is a little too wide and the taste of my juice is very different. It feels like it lost a lot of the iciness. I never did a lot of research on Vaping once I switched from cigarettes, I just lucked out and found one I liked fairly quickly so now that my unit is discontinued I have no idea how to even figure out what unit, tank or coils would possibly give me the same experience as my Haus did. If there’s somewhere I can purchase coils that would fit my Haus, then that would be the preference. If anyone who is better educated on how each part changes the vape experience (especially anyone who has used Haus in the past) has any advice for me on how to remedy this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I can see that driptip fitting on the falcon. I had one an broke the tip. A replacement was hard to find because the hole it fits in is smaller than nearly every other one. I do DL and prefer a more open driptip so I probably wouldn't be of much help finding what you are looking for. But keep looking.

I was luckily that my tip connector was a 510 so it could easily be replaced into the Falcon but I’ve seen places online that make custom drip-tips for specific tanks that use non-standard size connectors. So if you’re having trouble finding them but know what tank you use search for drip tips for “blank” tank. The drip tip on my Falcon tank (in the pic) IS the one from my haus tank (510). If I could put that drip tip on the iSub tank that would be a lot closer to my Haus experience but the iSub drip tip isn’t removable (the I sub is closer to what I want effect-wise but since the tip can’t be swapped it’s just not quite right but it’s MUCH closer to what I’m looking for then what I’m getting with the Falcon. With the Falcon I’m not getting the “bubbling” feeling at all and the taste is off on both compared to in my haus. The extreme ice vape juice went very icy in my haus to barely menthol in my Falcon and iSub but the difference is much more noticeable in the Falcon. I have no idea what the haus coils were made of (the packaging only lists the resistance as 0.3 but no materials like the Falcon coil box lists. The Falcon coil I’m using is wood pulp and cotton 0.2). Is it possible it’s a different coil material or slightly different coil resistance be what’s affecting the taste and “bubbling”. If I knew it was resistance I would try different resistance coils but I had gone for the closest to what I was using and figured 0.2 would be closer to my 0.3 haus coils while my iSub coils are 0.5 Japanese organic cotton but for all I know it could be the materials, airflow, power settings, or a combination of all of the above. I guess I just need help troubleshooting to figure out what I need to change, replace or adjust to get the effect I’m so used too since I have little understanding of what part causes what effect, I have no idea how to fix it.

I don't know which mod u are using but the Haus mod u have doesn't have enough power to run those atomizers...

The isub innokin with 0.5ohm standard coils are working at 20-35watts and this is ok cause your mod output 30w Max and it's ok even if u go a little lower than the recommended coils wattages anyways

The falcon 0.2coils seem to need 70watt - 90watt to work according to what I read if I am not wrong cause I don't own this atomizer

Just saying this will affect the flavour and experience on the falcon for sure...and I hope it works cause u got your preferred driptip in that....in case u don't find solution or custom driptip or any workaround to use the driptip u want on isub innokin I guess...

Also different atomizers may give better or worst flavour or bring out different tones of the juice u have....and 30 watts on one coil can be very different with 30watts on another...
Also the resistance don't really matter especially since many coils now days are mesh type coils or different material wire coils...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I know this isn't what you want to hear, but your chances of finding a "perfect" replacement for the vape produced by a specific coil head is slim to none. Close to it? Maybe.

However I will tell you that the Joyetech eGo One CL coils appear to be the same exact coil head as those Haus coils (and were probably even made by Joyetech as these larger vape brands all do contract OEM manufacturing). At least the housing appears to be the same, only difference might be the juice holes. On the inside, however, the coil and the cotton may be very different therefore you may never get the same vape from it.

There never was a 0.3 ohm CL coil as far as I can tell, but there was a 0.5 ohm coil. If you find the CL coil to see if they work and fit, just make sure you don't buy any of the ones that are labelled "Ti" or "Ni" as those are for temp control applications.

Here's what the 0.5ohm Joyetech eGo ONE CL coils look like. Dimensions are H18mm x W10mm.

In Personal Details, in middle of screen in gray, you will find "Location" Could fill that box line in.
re: New users - Put your location in your Profile...

As @ UncleJunkle has said, you will have to experiment with what is available or recommended preferably by a walk in vape shop in your area*.
* I have no idea how to fix it --- your question is not simple and requires a lot of questions and your answers.

I think this is unfortunately gonna be the thing right here :(

Trying to find something that specific and that old is not usually realistic in this business and especially with drop in coils where it's just not worth it for the companies to keep producing older coils when all the sales are going to the newer stuff.

If the OP could get herself onboard with an RTA she liked, she'd be set for life.

That or find a factory coil that is acceptable to the OP, then buy a lifetime supply +20% to make up for defectives
I'm not a subohm hater at all. I get why they sell so well. That said, going to rebuildables solves so many issues.

One decent tank that's fairly versatile in the range you like to vape and you can precisely tailor the vape how you want it and wire will probably be available until the end of time.

This 2016 Review: Hardware Review: Haus Craft Collection Sub-Ohm Mod Kit By Mistic shows that your set-up used to be sold at Walmart, Walgreen's, Speedway gas stations, and other places besides vape shops. The coils were also sold there by the box. I know Walgreen's and Walmart no longer carry ecig products. If you have any Speedway stations in your area though...you may want to check with them. But since that was 2016...it's very doubtful they have any.

Also, your kit was produced by Mistic Ecigs. In this Review, HAUS Craft Collection Sub-Ohm Vape Mod Kit: Quit Smoking the (Relatively) Pain-Free Way ...which is very indepth...it said the kit and related products were available directly from the manufacturer. But...it was a 2017 Review.

In doing further searching online...every single link to misticecigs.com...(to buy products, to go to their Blog pages, or to use currently shown coupon codes online for them for this month)...leads to an "Account Suspended" dead-end. So, yep...they're now out of business. Even the few vendors I found online that did have the coils...are sold out (long ago probably).

The BBB website also indicates how Mistic Ecigs screwed loyal customers out of a bunch of $$ when they went out of business. People have filed complaints against them even as late as September of this year. So if you didn't order any coils from them and lose a bunch of $ like they did...I'd count yourself very lucky.

Offtopic but man....those batteries in your profile pic always look like chocolates to me and make me want to eat chocolate ahhhh

I appreciate all the advice. No, it’s not the news I was hoping for but while I was hoping for a perfect replacement, i honestly hadn’t expected it to be so easy but figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask people who knew more about it then I do. So far I’m adjusting to the iSub Tank on the vaperoso gtx unit and ordered some different coils for the iSub and the Falcon to try that and see if that improves anything but after using it for a week the difference between my haus and this isn’t quite as obvious anymore. Thanks everyone!
