Perhaps the worst thing that every happened...

It was bad enough when the social media buttons were put at the top of the forum.
That increased the amount of time it took to load the page to damn near more than I was willing to tolerate.

But this new change where there are social media buttons on every post is a nightmare!!

It is taking 15 seconds for a thread to load now, and that is just completely unacceptable.
Either this issue needs to be fixed, or those things need to be removed.

Wow... I noticed maybe it took a couple seconds longer to load but not that much for me... and I use DSL!

I'm not a big fan of the change either but I'm not letting it get under my skin. I hope you don't leave! You'd surly be missed

Doesn't help me using an android.. ha I don't think ill ever want to tweet the new cartomizer review anytime soon. Plus my phone is connected to my wife's facebook and i dont think her friends want to know about the new Reo mod. If we want to tweet or post to facebook copy and paste works nicely.

I think they have been removed while they try to sort out how to handle the issue.

But some good came of it as far as I'm concerned...
From reading the thread in the Feedback subforum I learned that there is a setting to block the buttons at the top of the forum!!

I agree its pretty annoying . . . I have them blocked on my PC but on my tablet and phone they still show up and the page takes quite a bit longer to load now on my phone.

I sure hope so, anyway. All the Adblocker Plus thingies have helped, but there are still Twit and + thingies at the top of the first post on each page. And on every post by someone who hasn't yet figured out how to block these whosmagidgets yet.

But you're right, practically EVERYBODY hates those things.

AdBloc Plus will filter out those Twit & Thingies. Just put your cursor over them and then right click your mouse on them to bring up the AdBloc menu option from where you can add them to your filter rules.
