So it's been about 2 weeks now where I can no longer fully taste any of my juices anymore it started out as a pure vapers tounge where I couldn't taste much at all... that passed in 2 or 3 days but it's been 2 weeks now and it's not back to normal where everything tastes 100% everything is like 50% and it doesn't seem like it's going to go back to normal..... I really hope this passes but 2 weeks is scary

I anticipated this and at 6 weeks of pretty much chain vaping, and I swap out throughout the day two or up to five flavors depending on what mood I'm in...I keep a big bottle or glass of ice water with me (I did anyhow) and haven't experienced it yet, I might have but it was fleeting, I worked in restaurant kitchens (and I love to cook) to work my way through business and nursing school, and towards the end of shifts that were busy I couldn't tell a Bechamel from Velouteas, or Basil from Parsley by the end of a day, sometimes, and as a wine lover same deal at a long tasting/pairing event, and as an RN I know how taste buds work and their relationship to the brain (neuroscience is my gig) so basically you've fatigued your taste buds they've been overstimulated.

Have you ever eaten so many lemon drops or something like that your tongue hurt? You damaged the tongue papillae and it's no big worry it'll correct after a few days as they replenish themselves frequently (if it's longer see a doc) solution for that one, a fellow nurse went NO flavor until she could taste the lemon in her sweet tea, at lunch.

ok the fix, as the other posters said, water, and I'll add switching up flavors, if you're into tart, have another flavor that's sweet, your tastes will change over time (just like a kid can't eat "hot" food and then love it as an adult) your palate matures.

things other than chain vaping that can affect your "taste" medications, hormonal changes, time, if you're tired but as the Vet's said, this too shall pass more than likely.. :)

I came close, last night I tried five different lines of ejuice's wares, water in hand and a "cleansing break" I made it through it *lol*

good luck!!

Took me almost 2 years to get rid of the vapers tongue. After a month of finally tasting liquids.. it is semi coming back.

Drippers didn't work. Extra flavor didn't work. Water didn't work. Smelling coffee didn't work. Hot Peppers work for a few minutes. Gatorade seemed to work but only when I drink it, and I am not drinking gatorade 16 hours a day.

Fortunately, I vape mainly unflavored.

There are several juices out there now (cucumber with hints of melon/citrus) that were designed specifically for eliminating vaper's tongue initially, and they actually taste good too! :) Works like a charm.

cucumber and melon/citrus vapes? What do you use and why does this help?

Why does a cinnamon flavor help I read that that actually causes vapers tounge in the first place or makes it so you can't taste your other juices because cinnamon is so strong. I have a nice red hot cinnamon blister from MBV should I load it up?

My local B&M started carrying CMLeon (Cucumber Mint with a hint of Lime), I don't know the science behind it, but I read that several of those cucumber types of juices were designed initially by vapeologists specifically for eliminating vaper's tongue so they could test out different flavors at one time and "cleanse the palate" between vapes; they ended up tasting so well that people started specifically asking for them. Whatever the overall reason, it seems to work for me and a couple of my friends, and as strange as it sounds, it's actually refreshing. :)

I haven't tried the Mount Baker Vapor one, but it seems to have great reviews as well.....
