I don't think I've ever spent that much in the course of a month, but I remember spending a lot when I first started. I think it's just part of the process for us "enthusiast" types. It's a lot of trial and error to figure out what you like and also get a sense of when you're getting a good deal. That aside, congratulations on deciding to make the switch.

I wish I had that much disposable income.
Who says it's disposable income? In my case, it was not paying attention and going WAY over budget!

I spent that much my first year.
I wish I had spent that much in only a year. but then again, at least I got some pretty pipes and stuff.

For the $1,000 investment, I'd certainly hope you'd not to turn back to analogs!

As long as you have it to spare, it's only money. That grand may likely extend your life by years, something that no amount of cash can buy.

Have fun vaping with your new mods!

I can second this one. :)

-started off overpaying for a 3-6V VV MOD Vaporzone Rebel. $179 along with $50 worth of juice.
- More juice orders
- Bought Protank II and found it leaked a bunch so went and bought a Nautilus Aerotank Mega, and aerotank mini
- Extra 18650 Batteries and a Nitecore charger from Amazon
- More juices ordered
- replacement heads for aerotank mega and nautilus at least 30 by now
- more juices ordered

and then watching all the YouTube videos kicked in and the real journey started.......

- bulk order from Amazon for all supply I will need to rebuild (Tweezers, Torch, Kanthal 100 ft of every Guage, drill bits, Organic cotton, Bottle of PG to mix with vodka to clean my freshly ordered HH 357s)
then the big order went out:
- Hana DNA30 clone, Atomic RDA clone, EHPro KFL+, Russian 91%
- More juices from premium vendors

so now here I am hopefully settled down because I am very happy with the KfL+ and Russian 91%....whats next lol

Wait until you start to DIY juice! Muahahahahahahaha! P.S. It will save you a ton of $$$ down the road, and it's a lot of fun too!

What's next you say lol...a mechanical mod may be in your future, like a lot of people transition from a VV/VW mod after time.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I feel lucky as i saw the writing on the wall after reading so much about peoples experiences , it seemed everybody had tons of gear and thats what i didn't want for myself .

I just wanted something relatively inexpensive and reliable and that did the job for me , i knew it was way too easy to get caught up in needing to have the latest and luckily for me avoided it . I am hoping to beat nicotine so accumulating nicer and nicer vaping gear would be going in the opposite direction .

I am curious about this as well how many people here successfully transitioned to 0 MG nicotine juices?

Every time I turn around I find something else to buy. My wife orders juice like most women buy shoes. Now I found out about patina so I am testing that out and if I get the right thing then a vanilla clone is in order but for now looks like I need to find o rings for my taifuns. Seems like there is always something. Good luck to you. The journey has just begun.

I started off with 24mg going through 10ml in 2-3 days then dropped to 18 mg then 12 mg got screwed by a B&M employee went back to 24 mg than 36 mg back down to 24 mg, started dripping down to 3 mg on an RDA and 8 mg in a tank, and I also drip with 0 mg at times to get a "feel of smoking" when I don't need or want the nicotine but want or need to puff on something. Even when or if I beat nicotine I will be on 0 mg for the hand to mouth/smoke inhale/exhale sensation.
