Hey all!

I've had my Stardust V2 for just under 2 months, and for the past month or so it has been leaking not into the battery, but out around the sides. I routinely get e-juice in my mouth, which I am sure is not very good for me, and my hands are always covered with e-liquid. It's hard to explain without a pic, but it seems to leak between the grippy part and the smooth part at the bottom of the atty. The other place it seems to leak is between the mouth piece and the silicone plug. The only way I can sort of fix this is by placing the atty mouthpiece down on the table and gently tapping the other end with my remote control.

I have three other Stardust V2 attys that I use, but this one always seems to give me an issue. I am always very careful not to get e-liquid down into the center part, and I've never dropped, twisted, or otherwise compromised this atty. My other three are great and working fine!

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Is it possible I simply got a defective Stardust?

Seems to me that it is not screwing in completely on the bottom (this is a replaceable coil version correct?). That would explain the mouthpiece not sealing all the way and the leaks at the bottom. Swap the bases with another unit and see if the problem move to the other one. You can get replacement bases and tubes, although it may be more economical to just purchase a complete unit.

The plastic is sort of "fused" to the metal, and plastic and metal cool and heat at different temperatures. That is where your tank is oozing from. I put some electrical tape over that seal, and it was just fine. Mine was just oozing enough to be annoying.

I love the little thing but it is a fairly cheap disposable unit. I still have that one in my backup drawer, but did buy another. I expect that after a month or so it will start leaking as well.

ETA: and it distorts the inside pin also, so that is why the mouthpiece is probably no longer fitting flush
