Hello all,

I've been using Stardusts (long wicks) for a week or so now and have 4 of them. All of them seem to leave a few drops of juice on the battery. Its not that big of a deal, but when ever I change one out to vape a different flavor if I dont notice the drops and clean it off it creates gargling. It's a bit annoying to have to clean everytime I want to change from one stardust to another.

Is this noticed on others setups? I'm using an ego passthrough BTW. Also my stardust's airflow seem to vary alot between different ones. Am I just getting bad luck from my local B&M or are they all this inconsistant?

I have the same problem with thin juices. Seems thinner juices keep wicking and then drain a bit down the center hole. You can lay them on their side when you're not vaping and it'll reduce the leakage.

I just trim the wicks down to the bottom of the little silicone nipple cap on ones I use with thin juices so it's not a problem at all. But then you still have to sometimes tilt the bat and wet the wicks like with the original version (although not as much).

Myself and friends have not had this problem but it could be:
tank hairline crack?
condensation in the drip tip area- tilt and drain back into tank
silicone at the top may not be butting up to the drip tip completely

As for the tight draw this worked for me...at 4:48 mins

Thanks man! that video helped tremendously. The only thing I couldn't solve was the airflow, no matter how I wiggled it I couldn't adjust the airflow, still way too tight on one of them.

This makes sense, I think now that I've paid more attention to how the system works and seeing that video, it was a culmination of maybe filling it too full and it leaking down the center tube, and just not being careful enough when refilling.

Always have to be careful about allowing juice in the airway whether it's a clearo or a carto. Re: airflow I read about someone drilling extra holes in the clearo. Glad to have helped and credit to the person that made the vid= excellent.

This is why manual batteries are preferred over unsealed automatics. I have high pg juice which is thin. My stuff doesn't leak leak but over time you get a little juice that builds up on the battery. I just clean it off with a qtip every couple days if needed.

Thanks for the reply, I usually use 50/50 or higher vg than pg. But what do you mean by manual batteries and automatic, I'm not familiar with those terms.

Thanks in advance

Haha, drilling holes seems a little much for a minor issue with only one of my clearos, for 5 bucks I can just replace it. My B&M store owner was a .... about it though, it's obviously 3-4x harder to pull on and hes just like too bad, not all of them are perfect. He doesn't even replace DOAs which is why I only buy juice from there now, with those business practices I don't see him lasting long anyway.

manual batteries are powered by a switch or button that you have to press to vape. These batteries are sealed.

Automatic are normally not sealed. There is a sensor inside the battery that detects when you inhale. This is how the battery knows when to power on. For the sensor to detect the inhale it is not sealed. Because of this juice can/will eventually seep down into the battery cause premature failure.
