Got mine in today. Net, two thumbs down.
I had great expectations, since Stefan from Vandy Vapes designed the GeekVape Avocado 24, a superb rdta imo.
I'd call ease of building for the two a wash, similar.
I'd call flavor, when set up right, very good to excellent for both, a wash.
I'd call Vandy Vape getting rid of the spare single coil block, instead switching to providing two spare (3 total) wide bore goon format drip tips a "hunh?"
-Drip tips aren't what anyone I know calls a failure prone item
-if VV just really loves including drip tips, how about including a 510 format ultem top, for use with the 510 adapter that they do include
-Those single coil blocks do have failures doing remove/replace, a spare really made sense
The true cons are the top cap and filling. That locking mechanism is a pain, takes force, is a finicky connection system. The avocado 24 (and many other tanks/rdas) use a simple two o-ring method that has proven pretty reliable, easy to use; worst case you change o-rings every so often, from wear and tear.
The filling is just weird, and sloppy. You have to angle the eliquid in through a small cutout, and there's no secondary air outlet, so it's very likely that you'll get eliquid mess on every fill. The avocado24 got this aspect right, it's amazing that VV totally lost the bubble with Perseus.
(I do fill with a unicorn bottle, a nice narrow tip.)
They shouldn't have released this tank. The top cap and filling are terrible implementations. I really wanted to like it, but they messed up.
