......mit did they make the same mistake they did with the Medusa....Looks like it ! There's no way to fill this thing. I went to the Vandy vapes web page and it looks like your stuck trying to fill it the way you have to with the Medusa which is take the cap off and either move your cotton or if you have something with a small top try and fit it between that mini gap at the bottom of the deck. It's a poor design which sucks because I like the looks of this thing. I feel like Vandy Vapes is rushing stuff out for some reason. They have some really solid ideas and products but they need just a tiny bit of fine tuning before churning them out. The Govad could have been amazing but in my opinion a few small design flaws make it almost worthless. Sigh I really hope they do a center Alpine/Gaia-ish center fill here and take there time with it

Got mine in today. Net, two thumbs down.

I had great expectations, since Stefan from Vandy Vapes designed the GeekVape Avocado 24, a superb rdta imo.

I'd call ease of building for the two a wash, similar.

I'd call flavor, when set up right, very good to excellent for both, a wash.

I'd call Vandy Vape getting rid of the spare single coil block, instead switching to providing two spare (3 total) wide bore goon format drip tips a "hunh?"
-Drip tips aren't what anyone I know calls a failure prone item
-if VV just really loves including drip tips, how about including a 510 format ultem top, for use with the 510 adapter that they do include
-Those single coil blocks do have failures doing remove/replace, a spare really made sense

The true cons are the top cap and filling. That locking mechanism is a pain, takes force, is a finicky connection system. The avocado 24 (and many other tanks/rdas) use a simple two o-ring method that has proven pretty reliable, easy to use; worst case you change o-rings every so often, from wear and tear.

The filling is just weird, and sloppy. You have to angle the eliquid in through a small cutout, and there's no secondary air outlet, so it's very likely that you'll get eliquid mess on every fill. The avocado24 got this aspect right, it's amazing that VV totally lost the bubble with Perseus.

(I do fill with a unicorn bottle, a nice narrow tip.)

They shouldn't have released this tank. The top cap and filling are terrible implementations. I really wanted to like it, but they messed up.

    Yes, it's a leaker.

Left is av24, right Perseus. Both have tails packed fairly tight (I've been using Rayon and rdta for a year, know how to pack an rdta eliquid port).

The topcaps are propped up on a doubled up section of paper towel, so the mouthpiece is higher than the 510 connector.

The Perseus fill point is contiguous with where the tails go in on one side of the deck, a gap that doesn't close. If it's on its side the liquid will come out the fill point.

I respectfully disagree with Markfm on one point, no it's not a leaker....sitting upright. RDTA's were never meant to lay on their sides, they all will leak some if that's done. But I am having a problem with mine. Cap goes on fine with some force, but when you twist it back to open up the airflow, the rotating inner hole cover doesn't open up, or opens at the wrong spot. I'm not making myself clear I know. I suspect it gets juice condensation inside it and so it slips and doesn't slide open like it should when turned.

I concur that upright there's no leak, however I've been spoiled by the avocado24 and rayon. Av24 is totally leak free for me, and with a little care even some of the classic gennies were leak free (a stylish draping of the rayon tail [emoji5]). With Perseus i get no joy (& understand why based on the opening extending from liquid inlet to where the tails go).

For anyone who enjoys the Perseus I'm happy, it's a bad fit for me (I loathe the top cap - vaping 15ml a day means multiple rounds of remove/replace per day [emoji3])

Mine's available for anyone who would like it. I only used it for 3 days before cleaning and putting it aside.
